played for John Mothershed. He was the O and D line coach when I was there under Head Coach Tandy Gerelds. You may have heard of him. They only made a movie about him not too long ago, Woodlawn.

Never heard of him. Never heard of him. Would never watch that movie.

Marcello had update yesterday. A new name has come up that is currently an OC at another non SEC Power 5 school. He couldn't say the name per his source but believes he is a legit target. Mentions again how AU really wants to improve passing game

So let the speculation begin....

the first coach to just stick 11 guys out there on offense and tell them to "just play ball" with no play called

Sounds like our basketball team

We couldn't swing him even if we wanted him. Considering his background I doubt we'd want to anyways

If Mr. Power 5 has been recently successful, we must be breaking the bank to bring him. Otherwise, why would he take such a gamble yoking himself with Gus, who is gone after this year if he doesn't produce?

If he hasn't been recently successful, why would we want him?

This is probably too simplistic of an analysis. I don't know why I am working myself up.

I should just sit back and trust The Jacobs. All will be revealed to me in time.

I can't remember his name but I remember this one qb guru whose resume is unquestionable. He taught Tom Brady everything he knows and he helped make Tebow the qb he is today. If we could hire someone like him all our troubles would be over. He even has multiple years experience calling plays at the P5 level.

The name everyone is throwing around right now with "insiders" even claiming it's a done deal is Mike Yurcich who is OC at Oklahoma State. That would be a HR hire so not getting my hopes up just yet. Marcello says he will have an update sometime today so we will see if he gives anymore info than his last update

Damn good suggestion. They mix power run/pass better than anyone. Also, talent evaluation is a must to win there.

And he only makes $400k at OSU.we could easily double. Hell we could triple it if we wanted to get him here. He calls the plays at OSU too, not Gundy.

Damn you. I was hoping to guess right first. Just scrolled through the P5 in my head, he made the most sense.

Would be a nice hire

What is your benchmark for produce?

And I'd rather Kodi than Yurcich. LINK

Would be the best OC hire this season. With him and Steele, our stability issues should be taken care of.
