I decided to check this out.. someone explain to me how the final 4 in gymnastics has more than 4 teams competing..

There are only four teams. You are probably seeing individuals, not teams.

I see now. I guess those are just the seeds listed besides their name.. Looks like we got 4th anyway.

They don't they had 8 teams with a few individual qualifiers but Thursday all the individual was done and teams cut down to 4

The hottest dating and sex I ever had at Utah - I was an MBA student - was with a gymnast. I had to eventually file my only restraining order. Gymnasts are psycho as far as I can tell. I'm sure that's why I was OK with it.

Utah has one of the top perennial gymnastic teams, meaning they are there like all the time representing in the championships.
