We all know what it is. It's Auburn. They have to exhaust every single out they have before they submit. College Gameday spent 5 minutes on Purdue when they had just lost at home, and hadn't beaten a NET top 80 since December 3. How many have Arizona and/or Purdue ahead of us? They play potential and favorites instead of body of work and quality of play, but only when it's a program they don't like crashing their boring party. Regular season losses only matter when they feel like it.
Might I add, they'll even do it when we have the best player.

He essentially just uses kenpom which also dropped us a spot. He barely even rearranges it.

He definitely is. If you’re going to use your vote to create publicity for yourself then you should lose your vote.

Which all have us in the 7-10 range. I actually don’t really have a problem with it after seeing his explanation.

Read Rocky’s article he posted in this thread.
He uses the rankings I posted. Says he evaluates the history of those rankings and tries to factor in the more successful ones more. That’s a little iffy but they all have us 7-10 so him putting us at 9 isn’t crazy.
As long as he consistently does it, I have no problem with that. Which he claims he had us higher than everyone else the year we made the final four run due to the same method.

KenPom actually has us at 9, so I believe him.

Well of course he is. And he knows that. But I’m not going to roast him because I find his explanation suitable.

None of us would give a shite about his method if he had us ranked higher.
I get we’re emotional about not being #1 but honestly I’d rather the team have a chip on their shoulder.

Agreed, they should have to have some of their own original thought behind their vote. I can see using a system, but then you have to use some of your own.
I get you can't watch all games, but I find it hard to believe a voter wouldn't take a look at games played by the top 5, 10, 15, etc, to get your own take as well.
