What information is there to give that hasn’t been given yet?
1. I gave JGT’s information last night and I’ll do it again when more information comes available.
2. Create a thread and ask for the information and then they’ll just corraborate whatever information has already been given.
3. Don’t sign on here anymore. Go back to Aufambly and tell Cole to come over here. He is a better poster than you’ll ever be, princess.
You're great at the copy and paste thing... but JGT??? Can you find someone else?
Aufmbily is a no brah, that place sucks, I don't know who Cole is. And Princess??? LOL please tighten your chinstrap before you hurt yourself.
Sorry everyone... I guess I'll try to be more negative in the future.
WDE!!!

I can’t recall anything like it.
If Harsin was forced to hire some non Boise guys then I guess it makes sense that those guys are dropping like flies. But now his OC is gone in a month.
This Davis situation is so fricking weird. How does someone on the verge of quitting a coaching career become the #1 OC target for a SEC level school and get hired?
That’s bananas to me. He wasn’t hired for OC experience or his resume so you’d think the whole damn thing had to rest on his passion and energy for the game

Bring it join the rest. Bring all the negativity. Let’s get negative.

What other staff changes do you see on the horizon?

Phillip Marshall confirmed what most of have figured out already… Auburn’s football program is as closed off as it has ever been. They haven’t talked to coaches since the Birmingham bowl and haven’t been able to do interviews with anyone in the program 1 on 1. Reporters are getting second hand information and essentially everyone has lowered their standards (my words, not his) on corroborating facts because everyone involved in the program is being asked not to divulge information or provide context. And he said it’s unlike any other program on campus right now.
All this to say, I don’t truly believe we have an idea of what’s going on behind closed doors and I’m personally skeptical of the context reporters have been trying to put around a lot of the moves happening with players and coaches. But PM said something that was more interesting given the fact that he’s been long used as a mouthpiece for the head coach at Auburn: things are not in a good place.
We’re still early in Harsin’s tenure. I suppose there’s a possibility that these things make sense down the road but it’s tough to follow right now
Wow...but that's Phillip. Does Harsin think the reporters are not trustworthy so he's shutting everyone out?
We need some good news soon.
WDE!!!

Corch mentioned it but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the rest of the non Boise guys look for other jobs. They’re probably staying for 2022 but if we’re 6-6 or whatever would anyone be surprised if Etheridge and Caddy distance themselves to open up a door at Auburn again down the road?
Posted on 1/31/22 at 2:01 pm to Poker Dough
Etheridge is the only one that another team would try to pluck. Friend could land on his feet somewhere. The rest are Potato gang or Jimmy Brumbaugh. Caddy brings nothing to another top school. Was a weak hire by Gus and continues to be a weak hire.

Guess that means Harsin will live, and likely die, doing it his way.

Poker as he should. I’ve never disagreed with any head coach doing it his way. But you know going in don’t bring a knife to a gun fight. We got a lot of butter knifes on staff right now

I have no problem with it either but if my way had me on DL coach #3, OC #3, WR #2, DC #2 all in my first 12 months almost literally to the day I'd think maybe a few tweaks need to be made. Wouldn't you?

If PM is saying things are not in a good place, then it means that digusting fatbody has no one leaking dirt to him and that Tim Jackson is probably in the dark as well. AU will go two directions under Harsin next year and for the forseeable future; severe overperformance or severe underperformance. Randy Savage and many others will take the under, and I will take the over. It is my nature.

Let’s some of the coaches into spring when they start having meetings and talking with the media and you might start to hear some things come out of what might be going on in the football complex. I don’t think anyone knows anything at all now. Maybe part of severance was a non disclosure.
But more then who is leaving and has been fired. Who has been offered that turned us down. What does that list look like?

Corch, in your experience what does a cleaning house, successful and effective rebuild look like?
If AU is in such terrible shape and other coaches have turned us down because of admin/ptb, in fighting and such what is it that Harsin is not doing right tying to handle all of that?
WDE!!!

quote:Not to derail the melt, but I big time disagree with this. Imagine being him having to recruit the past couple of seasons with the shite show that's been going on. Yet he still managed to get Tank to stay and find Hunter who was a 3* late in the process.. shows you how good he can actually scout. Now with all this going on this year he has Alston coming in and still has us in the mix with Citizen somehow. Imagine if he was in a stable environment and could sell running behind a good OL.
Caddy brings nothing to another top school.
Now, let the melting begin again.

One of fav players. Average coach. Great recruiter. Said some dumb arse shite about AU when he left. Not sure he would be welcomed back AU by powerful folks. Probably wouldn’t be accepted back by many fans. I could chalk it up to a dumbass being a dumbass.

Citizen is looking for moolah. If we win we win. Alston will not be the running back many thinks he will be. I called him very overrated when I was behind this staff 100. Hunter was a very late signing find but I think either Friend or Bobo found him not Caddy. Tank was there for Caddy to just get to the finish line, UGA had already shite in their nest getting back in good graces with him.
