Those numbers aren’t that bad at all, actually, considering the context. I don’t know much about his recruiting ability, but I think we recruit fine. What, is he going to tank our recruiting just by being on the staff? You’re real riled up, so maybe you think so.

He's had one good offensive year since 2013, sounds like somebody else we know... Is it his QB son? Because he is a good Christian coach? Name recognition? Why would you want him???

Looks to me like his numbers show that he inherited shite and trended it up. The current narrative is that Gus doesn’t extend his hires far outside of his circle, so why not take someone who has had success as an OC running a similar scheme? I don’t really care if we hire him, personally. I just wouldn’t be as outraged as you appear to be.

I will agree that it would be a typical Gus hire...

Are we expecting any significant turnover on the staff when the season is over?
1 depends on if Norvell takes the FSU job & if Dilly goes with him. There's talk of Grimes retiring but haven't seen anything credible on it.

Supposedly staying.

Gus will likely be fired if he doesn't win the bowl game.
Unfortunately wrong.

Adding Morris as an Analyst and maybe losing Dilly to Norvell
If Dilly goes with Noevell Morris might as well be OC. We can't take his son unless Chad is a primary assistant coach.

The dude who lost to Arizona St with playoffs on the line? He might be a good coach, but if you would look at him through the same lens as some of you look at Malzahn through, you would be running him out of town if you were an Oregon fan.
