He's been very adamant CA is too fat to play OG and won't be able to pull. So we can all expect CA to end up as a top 10 pick whenever he leaves.

So, here is what the OL is looking like right now if things play out like has been reported (weights I believe are still from the spring reports):

LT Tega 6'7 307
LG Harrell 6'3 307
C Horton 6'4 324
RG Ashley 6'6 322

RT Trox 6'6 305
-or- Driscoll 6'5 300

That is some pretty good beef

Fine, I'll say it. I feel better about this year's line than last.

I don't know if I feel better yet per say. Have to see how they play. We still don't know if Ashley can actually handle guard. However, if we can't run on that right side of the ball, then we just need to quit.

Half the reason I feel better is because J.B. is coaching and won't be dicking around with the lineup when the season opens.

honest question... can we rely on him yet? Has he learned how to play?

How often does RG pull in Gus’ offense anyway? Isn’t that more an LG trait?

Considering he's pretty much locked down LT even after bringing Driscoll in, I'd say he'll be fine. He had some really good play last year. Just had some really bad as well.

Pretty often if we run the power or counter to the left.

I think Tega is the story flying under the radar going into the season. Like you said, he has apparently locked his spot down and has really been the one constant in all of the OL talk.

That, that is a lot of food.

Grimes had high praise for him after spring. Won't know for sure till September but seems like coaching staff trusts him

Still no idea why Darius James remained starter over Tega late in the year. They pulled him vs A&M/UGA and Tega came in and did fine

I hate this time of year. I'm able to remain cautiously optimistic all off season, then all the sudden I go full posi-barner.
