They definitely compliment each other much better if nothing else. Freeman doesn’t have much outside game but is technical in the post, so maybe play Dowd at the 3 and you have a quicker slasher, athletic guy that pounds the boards and can knock down the outside shot. Then maybe Ngoy at the 5 for some added muscle in the paint.

If we get Aristode, can have him at the 3 with Olsen at 4. Olsen is a big outside threat and good without the ball, which should free up space for the others.

That then lets Taad and Overton have some more freedom and gives more options off the pick and roll game. Far more variety with how we should be able to attack teams and packages we can run.

Give me Mantis and any PG that can take care of the basketball, distribute the ball, and shoot FTs. Then it’s a wrap.

Would be a very solid squad if they can come together and have the willingness to bust their asses on defense.

Regardless I think this roster may not be more talented but so far better put together than last year’s.

Just to clarify, the player has to be IN the portal by last night.
