Feeling much less disappointed in our game yesterday with how a&m is playing. Idk what buzz did but damn those boys are playing hard. Their defense is stingy as hell

We still shot like shite

That said - I hope A&M wins the SEC tourney

Will the SEC have three 2 seeds?

Wendell Green led the entire conference in +/- at +208.
Second place was Oscar Tshiebwe at +153..

It will be interesting where we land today. The 3,4,5 and 7th ranked teams all fell in their tournaments.

It will be Gonzaga,Ariz, Kansas probably, and a bunch up for the 4th #1 seed.

But the committee will see we ended up 5-4 down the stretch which is not what the committee likes to see.

I concur.
We will end up a 2 seed, probably #6 overall.

I’m not sure. I remember a game when Auburn could do no wrong where KD shot well for Auburn that day, but stayed after the game to shoot some more. He’s obviously trying, and bad work ethic is out the window, but I wonder if he has been tweaking his shot and now uncomfortable with his shot.

He is an emotional player. He gets too jacked up. It is hard to compete at a top level when you are crawling out of your skin. Out of control and pressing. That's exactly what you saw from him last game.

You’re talking about one simple game. I’m talking about his progression throughout the season.
3 point percentage in monthly splits
40% November
22%December
42% January
14% February
18% March

He has definitely regressed. Green has also. Flanigan never has had it. We are a two horse team at this moment.

If you rehash the season.........we started playing ball differently after we got the #1 ranking. That went to their heads. We can't figure out how to get out of that funk. There are too many guys reading their press clippings, IMO.

FWIW he also shot 39% from 3 at Georgia on 59 attempts but February was his worst month then as well.

If he averaged .39% from 3 this year we would have less than 3 losses for sure.

His shot looks super super broken right now and that happens a lot when a player tries to tweak his shot mid-season. Most coaches shy away from any major adjustments until the off-season for this reason.

TAMU 0-8 from 3 in the fist half so far. What might have been if that's how they came out against us...open looks too.
