Much like basketball it seems like we’re just completely out of steam

Not going to complain too much, but frustrating to just watch us fall off the cliff so suddenly

Great outing against the heart of their lineup

JG is hanging in very honorably, I just unfortunately don’t see anything changing at the plate. Hope I’m wrong starting right here

If we could lay off the high heat and jump on the early breaking ball down the middle we will make some noise

Finally barreled one up for a hit.

Scooper I’m not on you but don’t understand the bitching about Gabe. You can have the best strategy in the world and can can get out pitched some days. Dude has been rolling filling up the zone. We chased some high heat behind in the count but that’s baseball bro. Let’s keep chugging along and see what happens

We need 5-8 to win. Nothing has changed. Let's get to hitting the ball.

I only saw the replay back end but was there no chance to get him at home? Down 3-0 I feel like you have to throw it home if possible.

Definitely what I was afraid of. Bats cold at the worst time.

It was the right call IMO. He might could have gotten him if he goes straight home but 2 for 1 is worth it with no outs.

Also I’m a fan of Gabe but we are going to have to jump on these first pitch strikes. OM is daring us to.

That's Gabe's approach that he learned from Renfro. We very seldom swing 0-0 so we can get into hitters counts. The Ole Miss pitcher is dealing with that first pitch slider. He hasn't missed.

I agree we need to swing 0-0 in this game because we're 0-1 every at bat.

Yep, this is when you as a coach have to adjust and tell your guys (especially now that they’ve all seen him) that if he throws one down the middle, jump on it.

The Ed Sisson batting approach would be good for the rest of the game. The Ole Miss pitcher has good enough stuff to make us look foolish when we get behind in the count.

Farquar just swung 0-0 so maybe we'll get more aggressive.
