As most of you know State fired their baseball coach this morning. As of now I expect them to interim head coach the rest if the year and then make Kentucky's head coach their target.
I say all of that to imply that while there is a relationship between State and Butch and a potential for him to become involved I do not see him leaving to take the State job.

So what kind of team does Georgia State have? I gotta think, considering the consistent high school baseball talent that the state of Georgia generates, that they are probably a decent team.

They are a middle of the road sunbelt team. No real dominant pitching, couple decent bats. Maybe one SEC level bat.
