yeah the no carb works for weight loss. I was not overweight by American standards either but I have lost about 12 pounds in less than a month. Basically a keto diet.

Only issue I have so far is that I enjoy endurance exercise and my body has not adapted to the lack of carbs. Trail running up big hills is still a struggle. When I do "pick ups" during the run I feel my age instead of the usual pep in my step.

Yeah I hear lack of energy is an issue from very low carbs. Trying to get just enough to provide energy but workin on low carb for this month to see if it works. All I need is 10 pounds and it should shed the fat that I want gone.

No doubt I would lose a little weight if I cut the beer out if my diet, but it just ain't happening

I basically don't eat, or eat very little, the days I know I'm going to be drinking beer. Unless I'm getting hammered and then I have to eat something

I was stuck there for 7 years. If you find yourself near Keesler, check out the Project Lounge. Total dive bar, but great cheeseburger or steak sandwich with ice cold beer. You'll secondhand smoke a few though.

Taste like Fruity Pebbles. Too sweet & too fruity, prefer my cereal with milk.

I like your style.....you ever fish any NC tournaments? If you head to Lake Norman for one we need to talk.

Best part about living in B'ham is there is so much good beer here now.

Not really a fan of Sweetwater's IPA though. Snake Handler or bust.
