It would be helpful to see it in the title line while scrolling through the board, I'd argue.

Is there a reason for the 8 day break between games this week?

Just now looking through the full box score. Some glaring negatives. Spencer fouled out in 17 minutes, but rebounded well/had two steals and two blocks. Brown and Lang had another game with no rebounds, and mostly zeros on the stat line. Dunans sucked dick. Heron stayed out of the way and let his teammates try to gel (leadership). LaRon was all over the place, but ended up with only one rebound and no shots. It's a shame Ronnie is too small and slow to play SG. Brown sucks, and Lang needs to just quit basketball with the way he's playing. Purifoy and Harper won that game by themselves. Harper had 5 rebounds. Brown had none in 22 minutes...

Why should you be asking a SG to rebound? Don't blame Brown because we're too small upfront

GenesChin, would it be possible for you to link that article about Bruce's offensive scheme in one of the OP posts?

Why? I don't know much about their team so maybe you can explain, but looking at their schedule they are not good:
L - Wagner 67-58
L - Northeastern 64-61
W - Loyola Marymount 65-62
L - Oklahoma State 98-90
W - Chaminade 93-82
L - Oregon 79-69
W - Boston University 51-49
OSU and Oregon aren't bad losses, but just look at the rest of those games. If those teams can win or keep up then surely we can

I agree for the most part, but he did show a spark late in the game when we went up by 11. He's been underwhelming in our last few games. I want see him, Brown, and Lang to have big games to get back into the swing.

Brown should have 2 or 3 rebounds minimum with his minutes. He knows we're small, we're getting no 2nd chance points, and no rebounds in 20+ minutes isn't good. There's no effort. Wiley would make Lang and Brown's minutes go away.

Assuming that's UConn. My point was their guards are going to kill us, and I wouldn't be surprised if they turned a corner soon and start getting on a roll. They're talented. Because of how much they've sucked this year, it's a game we have to win. OU isn't.

Yeah that's UConn. I think they're just now coming off scholarship restrictions. They're probably at their most vulnerable right now and I'm assuming they're about like we were at the end of last year having to use walk ons as depth. Quick glance at their roster and they're very young too.
What I'm most concerned about is the game being so far away, and the mental block of playing away in the arena of a basketball power. If we can get over that, we should win

First their guard play has been horrible. They are shooting like sub 30% from 3PT and rely on FR. Then they have a ton of injuries
The only PG they had Gilbert was a FR who is out for the season along with SG/SF Larrier. They also are missing a key post FR whose out for the season

Heron is going to go off when he goes back to Connecticut

I should have said "guard" and not "guards" since their other guy tore his ACL. But Jalen Adams is a 1st round draft pick. Guy is lethal, and never comes out of the game. Game is in Connecticut, and they'll be desperate/possibly playing better. Makes me nervous, because it probably won't even be seen as a good win the way they're going, but it's a loss that could kill their chances for consideration if they lose to Oklahoma.

Jalen Adams is a RD1 according to who exactly? I mean he is a good but not even close to carry your team good
UConns issue is scoring. They are low % shooters and bad at rebounding. Maybe Adams and Purvis have great games, but there is no one else on the roster who scores

I may be looking at the wrong stats but what I'm lookin at says they have a higher fg% than us and comparable in rebounding
