Jared Harper is a boss. That's all I feel like typing on my phone.

Posted this on another board

We have a good shot at entering SEC play with 10 wins. Here's the rest of our OOC schedule:

-Boston College (4-3) @ Madison Square Garden
- Coastal Carolina (3-6)
- Mercer (4-3)
- Oklahoma (5-2) in Connecticut for some reason
- @ UConn (3-4)

We should win the next 3 fairly easily. Oklahoma is beatable (losses to Northern Iowa and by 20 to Wisconsin) But I'll assume we lose to them. Uconn is down and down bad this year, their losses are bad and their wins are almost as bad. But we aren't used to that kind of hostile road environment as a program so it could get hairy.

Entering conference play at 10-2 would bode well for our postseason hopes

That BC game was circled assuming we lost to UAB. If we win that, who knows. Then we can play our way in to consideration. More worried about UConn than Choklahoma.

Good win tonight boys. This was one I had penciled in as a loss before the season. As this team develops chemistry they will be dangerous offensively.

Not sure why everyone thought this was a loss.

Preseason, I knew they returned 4 starters from a team that made it to the tournament. I figured that coupled with it being our first real road game would lead to a loss.

I didn't realize so many of you cared about me. How sweet.

And yeah they returned 4 starters, but one of them was their PG who tore his ACL in the first game. He was their best player

They return 4 starters from a NIT team that lost to a much worse Auburn team last year. They also lost their coach

To add to that, they lost their PG very early which supposedly was a huge blow

Exactly, losing the PG was key. It's perfectly reasonable to have thought preseason that we would lose to them. It's not like we just blew them out.

Full house. UAB is full of vets. They have a tall, athletic front court. Usually play well and hit shots in the 2nd half. They looked shell-shocked.

I thought it was one we could lose but I'd never go as far as saying it was a probable loss. We are the more talented team imo. The only games I had penciled in as losses were Purdue if we played them then OU and UConn. Neither of those later 2 are what I thought they would be going into the season so I have them both in the toss up category for now.

Still to early to put too much into RPI but it's still nice to see us in the top 20.

UK got dominated by UCLA for most of that game yesterday (in rupp).... Bruins controlled it from about 5 minutes left in the first half on.

Crazy that our rpi is higher right now.
