Two nights in a row for me. I hate my basketball teams. Every time they dominate or control a game and meet some resistance from a decent team, they bend over and play scared. Sometimes they win those types of games, but they still play like pussies, and are a headache to watch.

He's supposed to be the leader and he may have the lowest basketball IQ on the team. He's either really good or really bad. Ronnie Johnson has been good overall, but he also has some WTF moments.

Dunans is simultaneously one of the more crafty and stupid players on the court.
He will make some great move to make a defensive play or something, then on the other end will go full simple jack

Dunans is a guy that would have been incredible to get for 4 years and coach up.
With the limited time we have w him, his poor shooting form, inconsisten play and propensity to freelance for no reason hurts

Yeah, but it would be 3 years of the same thing. Then when we're losing all hope at the end of his last year, something clicks and he learns what being a role player actually means. Then he's gone.

Our basketball team needs to get some swag. We win the first half on the court, but we don't win the mental game. Jordan/Bird/Barkley all talked trash and mentally broke their opponent.
Our players act like they are afraid to lose the lead, their opponents never feel out of it and no one wants to kick them when their down

The problem was we needed him to be a key player day 1. Had we got him say in this upcoming class, he'd start as a role player and evolve from there.

Not even close. Cousins brings it on himself for being a headcase and aggressive at refs for no reason. He got his 5th foul early, but the refs wouldn't allow him to foul out. They're entertaining to play, but it was a crushing loss. Cousins even fouled the shite out of us on the final shot.

I think Dunans is like 24 years old, he has been playing basketball probably 15-16 of those years. He is either getting shitty coaching or not coachable.

Purifoy, Heron and HArper are TERRIBLE in their defense. Purifoy seems to have NO structure to how to guard someone. Heron and HArper are NOT good perimeter defenders.
The only guard who can defend is Brown. That is why we give up so many points in the second half.
Also, Harper seems to even speed up even more as teams put more pressure, cause more TOs, and get back into games. So many times he jacked up an NBA shot with so much time on the clock, as Ole Miss cut deeper and deeper into our lead. Once OM got the lead, mentally we all knew and the players felt they could not overcome such a big lead they had...

Everyone can bitch and moan but we are what we expected us to be. This isn't the fab five or uk. Next year you can set your control to the heart of the ncaas.
