Yea, let's judge him based on this one game against one of the best teams in the country

I like Heron, but he can be incredibly selfish and it results in poor opportunities

He wants to be James Harden but doesn't realize that even Harden passes the ball

Is shooting something that a college player is expected to already be good at or is it coached?

For having the rifleman on our bench, our mid range shooting is absolute garbage.

Heron wasn't billed as a good shooter coming in and midrange shooting in general is bad shot selection

I agree. Everyone on our team needs to be looking to pass more. Saying he's fricking terrible is stupid though.

Except for Lang. He passes up some quality 3PT looks to pump fake air then dish the ball.

We don't understand drive and dishing at all. Harper/Heron/Dunans will drive and get a herd of defenders and not realize that means someone is open

Until they figure out how to play as a group we'll continue to struggle.

The first half of the game was one of the best we've played though.

We scored more against Kentucky and gave up less points against Kentucky than we did UGA!

Wait... maybe that calls for ?

Brown 27 minutes 6 points
Harper 25 minutes 8 points
Spencer 22 minutes 4 points
Heron 26 minutes 11 points

That's not good enough.

I think we give UK a game today. By game I don't mean threaten to actually win but I do think we stay within striking distance well into the 2nd half before they pull away late and win by around 15-20
Your vision this morning was right on. Now tell me how are we going to do with LSU and Ala next?

Heron could use a good mid-range anything

Not a BB guy, but the team really seemed to be having a solid game until late and the stuff up the arse jam seemed to take the wind out of their sails. They kept UK within reach then started to run out of gas, then once it got kind of ugly they seemed to give up. I think Bruce can get them there, but they will have to grow up a little.

Dunans kept us withing reach, the rest of the team just did solid.

The best thing that will happen for this team is Bryce Brown and/or TJ lang starting to shoot AND hit 3pt shots.

-Drivers will see value in dishing ball to perimeter
-Lane won't be as congested to respect the 3Ball
-Our flex screens will be more effective inside

I think they both did a pretty good job in the last game or two. I'm pretty sure Brown has been at 50% the last two games.

I'm worried we're seeing the team play to theit opponent's talent level. They played well against Kentucky, but not as well against our first few SEC opponents who weren't as good.

This one has me concerned. They are bad and I mean really bad defensively but all teams have a down game after UK. If we can get out to a good start I think they will quit but I'm afraid we are going to have a bit of a hangover and struggle out of the gate. Hope I'm wrong.

Considering making the drive. Not nearly as concerned about this one as I am Alabama.

Alabama is long and lean.. Exactly what we're not. They're gonna go 2-3 and suffocate our O I'm afraid

Should put Purifoy out there with a boot and let him drain 3s after we collapse their zone

I'll take my chances with their bigs bricking shots and Purifoy not having to defend
