Calling him out and saying he doesn't know what he's doin is shitting on him.

No one knows what to do with these new rules. The refs are calling every ticky tack BS foul they can and it's killing the game.

Good. Then suspend his arse.

But, ohmigosh, now we've blown another lead coming out of the locker room in the 2nd half, get off that training bike Dunans!

I'm sure GenesChin will correct us with PER stats, but shitting on Heron is just dumb to me.

Generally speaking I agree with your points. He played great this game, his air ball 3s were actually decent looks too

I'll be the first to say he has a lot of room for improvement, but he is still an asset

Fair enough but that doesn't really take into account Bruce had to build a roster from scratch. We were basically coming off of the death penalty plus KT Harrell.

But yeah Bruce deserves some criticism. I think he was out coached last night. His rotations were head scratching at best.

The articles I'm reading from AL.com and from Dana Sulonen convey that there is still a calmness within our team. Harper even said something like "we knew this season wouldn't be perfect". Dana's suggest Bruce is still laying the foundation. Just wait it out. We will Win Tuesday against Missouri. Let's go from there.

As selfish as Canty was, losing him hurt and set us back. He'd be such an asset right now

I agree. Thought he played fairly unselfishly at the beginning of last year then tried to take on too much after Dunans went down. It'd be nice to have him right now.

Very true.

And my post was in no way a call for Pearl to be fired.

But I think its long past time that he should be held responsible for his coaching decisions and for the product he puts on the court.

No more passes.

Pearl is a helluva recruiter and a helluva salesman.

I'd just like him to start being a coach.

Personally, I'll give him a pass when I think we're just making freshmen mistakes. Even though we fought back last night, I think his rotation for the first half of the second half cost us the game. He kept letting Waddell make mistake after mistake and left him in the game. We also did zilch against that zone. Harper took over when he started looking to penetrate.

We play so well when we drive and then we abandon it for 10+ minutes.

Imagine how much earlier in the game we could have gotten what's his goggles to foul out if we'd been driving more consistently

The one thing I'll say about Waddell is his mistakes are from his talent not responsibility. Kid runs the offense/defense to the letter

It makes me wonder if it is sending a message to the kids, "Play your role or watch from the bench"

I think it was effective in the first half then Ole Miss figured out he was zero threat to score. Bruce should've pulled the plug on that idea very early in the second half.

I think Bruce was trying to send a message on who will play.

I feel like we played some of our better team ball this game.
