Had season tickets since 1997. I've never seen guys get put on the line on a reach with 4 team fouls. Guys are rolling around on the ground with the ball and no travel. Harper gets barreled over and they call a block. They did everything possible to swing that game in Georgia's favor. You can bitch about us not keeping composure, but we're a bunch of freshmen. They won't be able to deal with that yet. I don't think any team could've dealt with the fisting we received by the refs tonight.

Pretty simple we are young, refs kept it from being a blow out in first half with all the fouls. In the second half we were going along fine til refs made some of the dumbest calls I have seen in a long time. Then UGA capitalized on said shite calls. Our lack of maturity and discipline showed itself and the rest is history. Got to learn and win the next 3 before getting dismantled at UK.

I agree. You could just see and feel all the fight leave our guys after that awful call when the uga player was rolling around on the ground with the ball and they called it out off us.

They do with a young team. I agree that we responded poorly. There's no denying that. We couldn't get a momentum shifting call at all. There were tons of examples. The over the back foul on Spencer when he didn't jump, the non-travel call when the guy was rolling around. Harper getting blasted. Panic set in both offensively and defensively. I'm shocked Bruce didn't get a tech.
Hell we shot 60% from the floor and 50% from the three point line in the first half and only carried an 8 point lead into half because they put UGA on the FT line 23 or 24 times.

Heron did it tonight at the end of the game and the guy got his 5th. We need more of that early to give Wiley, Spencer, McLemore and LaRon a chance to go against smaller/less talented guys for more of the game.

That sucks. It's weird that I would rather the game be tight from start to finish than us get a good lead.
