I eluded to the fact in the other thread that these players just do not like playing for Dean. They receive almost zero instruction and support.

I dont like Dean, never heard of this player but she is coming off as mad and hurt she was benched due to poor performance. was in a 2-30 slump
^^^ that aint good and deserved to be benched for a better bat

, in conference games, she batted .154 with a home run and 3 RBIs.

It is not good, but since I dont give a shite about softball I will just give my opinion anyway because I'm sure it will piss someone off regardless what is said.
It seems like I remember we had decent success in softball. Not good, nor bad. Coaches do not bench seniors (much less) on senior day unless they have already said good riddance to the seniors and are ready to move onto the future players sitting on the bench. Note: future (younger players) might not get them any further (goals wise) so not acting like your current players are useless is still an option.
In another post Mcc...(whatever her name is) said in her last week of the softball season all she did was shag balls and only a select few got live hitting work. So basically her coaches gave up on her. That means she did something over and over and the coaches were forced to learn they were wasting their time with her. Now comes here big bad Bri to her defense.
Bri was another player that left and she held grudges along the way.
I am willing to bet their season went like my senior season. Coaches expected a lot out of us seniors. They expected the seniors to carry the team and to provide the leadership that would lead us back to the state title game. Once we realized that our senior team was not going back to Riverwalk coaches started treating us differently at first, and then began to work toward the future as the season ended. Seniors and the coaches were not getting along at that point. One or two seniors might be liked by the assistant coach or something, but for the most part coaches wanted us to know they thought we were selfish, and you could tell they thought that. At one time they questioned about seeing girlfriends too much. They newly started picked apart stupid shite. They benched seniors for barely being late to a meeting and naturally when the 8th grader is playing on first base and completely drops the ball out of the glove, all the coaches start yelling at the benched player saying "you did that! That should have been you out there." To this day several of my teammates have a bad taste about that team, that season.

For the record multiple players came out in support of Dean today. The bad apples voices were loud (Bri and Carlie) but many others are implying that they weren’t telling the full story.

This reminds me of Harsin's group backing him during the scandal. Turns out a year later, players were quicker to offer appreciation to the team equipment managers than to thank him while on their way out.
"Harsin is the chemo"
Dean isnt new to the job and has experienced his fair share of disappointment. He should be worried.

I think it is real interesting that Garcia played 3B 2 years ago for most of the season and then they played Bryant there this season.
Both players have left. So one is unhappy about a lack of playing and the other leaves unhappy with how they are used.

Not shocked. I don't mind Dean. Seems like we are heading in the positive direction. I figured there is more to the story. Softball players that leave with a mega phone on Twitter make it seem like sour grapes
ETA just went to read the latest from Bri. She's melting down like a psycho on any Twitter random who doesn't agree with her

I think many on here are not seeing the bigger issue with this program.

Basically that Dean came in as a pitching guy and was sold as so. He has never had a real hitting instructor and players rarely improve under his program.
