35-14 would be nice. I'm hoping for at least 6 TD's, though. Probably asking a bit much, but I really feel like we see the offense start to click. Gus is going to be ripping into them at practice.

If it's 38-34 I'm going to get hammered.

Does anyone know the status of Garrett and Ford going forward?

If that's the case, it's going to be a long year on D. God dammit man.

We needed some big plays to win last week. I think Arky State will be as good. I say we win in a close one 27-24

Arky St put up 26pts on us back in 2010...
I'll go 37-27 this matchup

41-28 auburn.
the worst auburn team of our lifetimes still managed to beat a middle of the pack SunBelt team... No reason to believe a much improved AU team shouldn't handle an above-average SB team.
Also, ark states opponent last week was Ark Pine Bluff... They're on the same level as Ala A&M. In other words, they were supposed to clobber them.

It'd be great to have Garrett back for Saturday. I want to see what he can really do. Ford being out only gives our new guys a chance to improve so I'm cool with that.

thought I'd do something different.

Therezie did enough for me in week 1 to win the job over Garrett. We need to move Garrett to WLB. We can't play them both (all the time) and they're both too good to have one sit behind the other on the bench

Ellis Johnson:
We're disappointed Garrett couldn't go Saturday. He wasn't ready mentally or physically
The secondary played mostly man and Johnson thought they were "outstanding"
Said for the most part the LBs were assigned to contain the rb's in the passing game. Garrett could have played if we needed him too. He's listed as day to day
Monty Adams still making mental mistakes in practice. So they didn't think he would play much.
After watching the film EJ says the pressure on the qb wasn't as bad as he first thought.
LB's played average at best EJ said some of the big runs weren't their faults. Said Monty played "just outstanding" and it was hard to get pressure with the quick release of WSU offense.
Dee Ford still expected to miss "a few weeks"
Therezie played outstanding. Really proud of the secondary they had to play a lot of man and did well
Johnson really wants Garrett to get healthy so he can get him on the field.
EJ says Therezie is better in coverage but Garrett excels at blitzing.
On Daniel and Lawson EJ says "when they got on the field they looked like they belonged"
At times there were as many as 5 freshman on the field defensively for AU.
Says KF still having mental problems learning where to line up but physically he's ready
