It is a joint problem, but there is only do much a coach can do when a kid gets in the game and freezes.

That interception had nothing to do with coaching. The kid can't throw! His accuracy is bad, and it was reported out of high school that it was bad.

I don't think he understands the defense. He still hasn't learned that you need to be at least 15 yards out of position to play defense.
