This is why I stopped listening to them. They were pushing an agenda based solely on the skin color of a certain player.
What people apparently don’t understand is that constantly crying wolf makes people not believe legitimate racism when it REALLY happens…

What boggles my mind is, how did he throw for 3k and tons of touchdowns at Michigan state?
Was throwing to him...
And him...
And HIM...
And handing off to him.

I've watched the first ten minutes now and Ive heard its not all on Payton like three times now. So you only care that Payton screws up, you dont care that others are making his life harder by not getting open or by not running route trees designed to stress the defenders.

That was a good interview with Aaron and Mike. Mike asks good questions. Aaron said some QB's have "it" and some don't. Couldn't agree more. Thorne is who he is. He ain't it.
Freeze also needs to light up Marcus Davis to get him to coach those receivers harder.

Good QBs will have success in spite of everything not being perfect. Payton cannot succeed unless everything IS perfect, and even then, when the game is tough, he crumbles. How many times do we need to see it

I'm wondering 2 things about Thorne...1) is he just trying to do too much 2) just can't process or make a decision quick enough?

That's up to Freeze.

Fine give me a bad QB with others playing well for the QB and let's try that.
-RBs running lazy routes
-WRs loafing or not knowing where they go
-starting center grading at 43 in pass pro.
-Horrible route spacing
All contribute to stalling drives just like Payton's mistakes.

The problem FOR ME is that Payton has been in school 6 years and literally all he does is play football... and he plays like a RS Freshman. No awareness, no pocket presence, no anticipation, panics when blitz, cant get the ball to the hot man. I KNOW Hugh Freeze has hot routes worked in for the blitz. PT just isn't it. Period. Guys are not just open... they are WIDE. arse. OPEN.
I capped for him all offseason. I'm GOOD on Payton.

I mean the receivers were open at times but I dont know what Thorne was thinking. The shittiest part to you might be he is in his 6th year, like Murray said he doesnt have it, especially while under pressure. The shitty part to me is hearing Aaron Murray explain how confusing our offense was at times in regards to timing, spacing, and putting stress on the defenders when we are supposed to have an offensive minded coach, so why is he allowing it. We will only have to endure Thorne for 1.5-2 years.

I care about Auburn winning games, and PT is a liability for that. If you’re not helping the team, you’re hurting the team.

10 people does right on one play, one doesnt, the team probably fails.
That goes for everyone.
That goes for everyone.

I watched Hank brown highlights last night and I’m ready for it.

the interviewer probed Murray about some of his comments, and his explanations were solid. Particularly about our RB's failing to hustle on some routes, causing a tell that the opposing LBs could key on.
As Murray explained, the play would then break down. He cited two specific instances on 3D conversions ... both of which failed.
IOW, these were timing plays ... designed to split the coverage ...instead having the opposite effect. This disrupts the QB's rhythm and creates mistrust in the receivers.
