Sucks for him, but he seems to have chronic injury problems.
He missed one year with an injury. He played as a TFR and as a SO. He barely saw the field at LB thanks to the great coaching of Thigpen, and as I recall, almost transferred because of the problems with him.
With this train of thought, any player that misses a year due to injury has "chronic injury problems."

I'm just ready for some new players out there on defense. We've had some pretty terrible defenses between the 20s the last few years and the defensive backfield has been suspect during this period as well.

These coaches absolutely love Garrett hell they even tried to play him with a broke foot one game this season. He'll definitely start somewhere next year.

Just heard that on The Drive. They said Trovon asked to move. I hope he pans out there. IJMO, he doesn't have the hands to play WR.
