You are probably correct because it can’t get much worse then this weekend

It was like playing the Show and just hitting everything hard right a defender. Definitely have a lot to shore up and are going to have to do so very quickly. It is early though. If we are going to struggle, rather it be now and find or groove at the end of the year.

That’s after leaving 29 men on base against Texas. Just a bad, bad streak. The levy will have to break at some point when you are getting that many guys on.

We did hit the ball hard at people today. However our 2 strike approach is poor poor poor. The team that just swept us is not better, just bought in!

Can’t score when we keep striking out. We have elite pitching so the strike outs are gonna be high for our pitching.

We didn’t face elite pitching this weekend.

Like I posted way earlier in the thread I had no worries coming out of the Texas series. I’m in full panic coming out this series. We were the better team statistically except HR hitting then bama. To bad we don’t play on paper I guess

Yea it’s a major concern for sure. Don’t know what the answer will be, but we’ve had early season struggles under Butch before. Frankly it seems fairly SOP more often that not (in my head at least, may be completely wrong) and then we start to go on an absolute heater.

We have to find a DH that hits above the Mendoza line. Your DH needs to have power and hit for average. Surely we have somebody on the bench who can do that. Our DH has been a guaranteed out all year long.

Again, Gabe's lineups have been puzzling all year long.

Both McCraine's can hit. They are both liabilities in the field.

Our pitching has been stellar.........for the most part. It's fielding and hitting that have let us down.

We have a team that can do some serious damage. We need to stop shuffling the lineup and key in on our every day starters. Let them get comfortable and stop looking over their shoulder.

rant/over.

I think it’s done. This team has no offense and has no ability to make timely hits. Errors have been a concern also. Fun while it lasted but this team won’t do much this year.

Good lord. All we do is lose lose lose in every sport.

Someone somewhere at Auburn has not a clue what the eff they are doing.

My money is on that POS Cohen. We fricking suck.

It’s so tiring.

Well that isn’t exactly true.

Outside of this year in basketball and baseball (which has yet TBD how we will be) have been elite. 2 final 4s and 2 trips to Omaha. The best run in both sports in our history.

It’s the losses in football to our rivals. It has worn down the fanbase. It’s exhausting to lose to UGA and bammer every year. Then throw in a loss in 1 or both of the other men’s sports and it’s a miserable year based on our rivals.

How long will it take us to beat the turds or dawgs… I’ll say it like Dye said it… 60 minutes. But that has to come quickly. Doesn’t have to be this year but better happen at least once over the next 2 seasons.

Baseball will continue to roll. Resources are there. Basketball doubt it. We failed to capitalize on the run. The banners are majestic though recruiting success proved to be short lived

Bama is about to unveil a state of the art basketball facility. We had to pull the plug on ours for short term goals. 5 year goals were absent.
