Yeah, he facetimed Karlos May, to join in on his commitment with VKW.

Looks like Izzy and May might be the next to join the class

I want to see a class of mostly trenches, with everything else sprinkled in.

I don’t really know what matters out of HS anymore. But trenches seem to be as good of a place to focus as any

Probably not so much in who commits where.... but making that early connection seems frequently mentioned come portal time.

He was a no brainer. He’s been visiting Auburn since 7th grade. No insider info from me on this one

I think this staff will go hard for 12-15 high school players. Go after about 8-10 depending on the year they think they can develop to depth pieces. Then add 8-12 portal guys each year all that depends on roster retention and holes in depth.

Probably a better comp would be Derrick Brown. Not as big but should easily play north of 300. Needs some refinement but may be the best 3 tech out of his school since Brown.

Nah his get off is elite. He needs to get stronger. Probably take a year or so to get strong enough to play in the trenches but his upside is very high. His motor is high as well. Can he bulk up and keep the same suddenness???

One of the things Pink brought up in a recent podcast, this spring will be the first time in years the entire team is together since there is no portal window afterwards.

They will have all spring, summer, and early fall practice......together. Hopefully this cuts down on the missed blocks, missed coverage assignments, wrong routes etc. And maybe I can enjoy a lead in a game without guzzling beer wondering when they are gonna fck it up
