Definitely mobile and seems to have a pretty strong arm. Little bit of a slow release. PSU has had a good eye for QB talent so definitely a solid get.

I know nothing about this kid but watched some highlights. Dude threw a strike 45 yards off his back foot. Also another 60 yarder so definitely has a howitzer for an arm. Elite elite as far as straight like speed for a QB. I can definitely see why he is ranked as a Top 200 player even tho he has some raw mechanics.
Some will think this is crazy but for the money savings and when he would be expected to possibly play serious time you have to prefer a guy like this to Duckworth. Because if you sign Duck and if Arnold plays 2 season if he loses the battle for the starter to Deuce he’s bouncing.
He’s the type of kid you give 2 years of strength and conditioning and working on mechanics and if he doesn’t figure it out then move him to Big Slot. 11.05 100m is flying. That’s upper level WR speed.

Our last recruiting class was 45 kids.
Yeah, don't really get excited as much anymore when we replace half the team every year now.

I don’t know what the NIL will cost for him, but he is a great get for this class on paper. Definitely a developmental kid that will take time, but with a huge ceiling. With Deuce, he will theoretically have plenty of time to grow and polish before really being needed, if he is willing to do that. Exactly the scenario that we’d be getting with Burgess, but I think he is a better athlete and player.
