Since there's no 2027 thread yet I'll post it here, 5* CB Joshua Dobson visited over the weekend and wiltfong had a article with some quotes from him:

quote:

“Amazing weekend can’t wait to get back soon,”

quote:

“Man Auburn might’ve came on late but I loved the visit and Coach Golesh is the real deal.

“Can’t wait to get back to The Plains.”

quote:

“Sitting down and really getting to know Coach and what he is trying to do with the program.”

Regarding DVD:
quote:

“Calling me every other day,” Dobson said. “I love what he’s doing right now.”

Will be battling ND, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina, LSU and others

I wonder how many of these signees will still be in an Auburn uniform in 3 years. Or any schools signees for that matter.

Yea, I think we are going to start moving towards high school classes that are going to be much more filled with your middle ranked recruits that are your culture/glue guys that want to develop and be there, then using your NIL on your 2nd and 3rd year transfer players. Not to say there still won't big big time guys you go after, but with how many freshman and sophomores are transferring, it doesn't make a lot of sense to spend so much money on guys that realistically even if they are a stud, probably won't start their freshman year anyways unless it is a real position of need.

kinda what Golesh described in his opening presser

seems like he believes in the importance of developing as a team - to be honest i have no idea if thats possible in the current CFB environment, but it cant be any worse than what we’ve been doing the last 5 years

I wouldn't read too much into it. Back when payments were under the table, having a recruit getting an "AU" tattoo and then not committing to us was the high water mark of not believing a single thing these kids are saying.

never made one before, guess I can use this one as a blueprint of what to have on the first few posts like commits and the recruiting calendar. Where do you find the recruiting calendar at?
