They’re actually playing a double header today. Game 3 is tied 2-2 bottom 3rd.

Well Myers comes in and is fantastic, going 4.2 with a season high 10 k’s. AU grabbed the lead 3-2 during his stint.
Watts comes in to start the 6th and gives up 2 runs. One was on a sure 3rd out till Fabian slipped after fielding on that should be outlawed fake grass.
Headed to 7th down 4-3.

Tigers scratched out the tying run in the 9th and held Ga at bay. Headed to extra innings.

UGA seems like a pretty stacked team. But yes pitching will be an issue this year I’m afraid. It is a weakness I was worried about but they’ve managed the first two series wins. They will have to live and die by being very efficient at rotating the pitching line up to win more games. Like today they knew to pull the starter first inning. Dude could not hit strike zone to save his life.

Has to dig deep on that one though lol. Pitching was a bit of a wreck and a 6 run inning isn’t easy to bounce back from. Thankfully we had the offense and the pitchers recovered.
