Chatterton’s 10th K. Guy will be invaluable in regional play.

Top of the order. See if we can generate some offense for insurance.

Rembert gets beaned. Belyeu gets beaned. Ike grounds into what *should* be a double play but the throw from second is wild and Rembert scores.

3-0 AU T7 one on one out.

First two ABs were foul outs. His off speed stuff is eating them up. Then he surrenders a walk on a full count. Ks the next guy swinging and the 7th is over.

3-0 AU T8.

Their leadoff gets ahold of one but Belyeu catches it at the track. Followed by a ground for out number two. Foul out ends the game.

3-0 AU Final. Two hit shutout. Nice.

Sorry to hear about your cat. We have done that a few times over the years.

She went out to sleep with a treat in her mouth and with daddy stroking her back. She was eighteen and survived being manhandled by four toddlers, never scratching a single one of them. I was a mess last night when we made the decision that it was time. Better today, held it together when she was getting put down, but I did cry a bit driving home after they brought her to me in her little body bag.

It sucks and it’s one of those things you experience if you choose to keep pets, but it’s never easy, especially not with one that’s kept you company for almost two decades.

Sorry. Venting a bit. Been a long 24 hours.

No need to be sorry. Tough when a pet has been with you that long. We had to put down one of our cats that had issues (14 yrs), our son's dog that had cancer (10 yrs) plus others.

They are part of the family and are tough to loose. We see pictures of the pets and have fond memories. I am sure you will do the same over time.

Sorry that you had to put the cat down but 18 years is a long time for a cat.

Yup. I had to put down my dog down several years ago. 17 years old. Didnt even get to hold his paw when he went. Had to sit in the car and wait til they brought him out in a box due to covid bullshite rules at the Vet.

Got a new dog a few months later. He got out of the fence and got ran over two months after I got him. Lost two dogs in one year. Sucked

Took me 6 months. Got two dogs, one for each i had lost that year. Great dogs and both from the same litter.
