Course we would love to have them, but how many DBs are we going to have on the roster?

Is interesting that they are coming back so soon, heck did Bolden even leave

That is why I posted Monday hoping Tuesday was a good day. As of Monday one of these two was still unsure about coming over today.

It’s Us and Arkansas. Staff pushed for a commit back in January, but he still wanted to visit other places. I’d Say Auburn has a pretty sizable lead at the moment.

Especially now with NIL, I’m not too comfortable with any early leads in recruiting. Long way to go on these guys

JLee caught up with 5* WR Mike Matthews

- Said Auburn made a push
- Really likes the culture and coaches
- planning to return this Spring

Sounded really positive overall

JLee with some follow up on WR Cam Coleman

Cam Coleman —

quote:

“(One of my coaches) came and got me out of school and he was like, ‘We’re gonna go to Auburn,'” Coleman said. “I’ve never gonna say ‘No’ when someone says ‘Come to Auburn.’ So I came up there. I didn’t get to see them practice (last week) so this was my first practice. It was very high energy. Everyone has energy. Very fun practice. Very nice.”

Sounds like he had a pretty personalized visit and said he basically felt like he was part of the practice

I remember we had some people pushing back on his hiring due to his age… I hope those posters are recognizing what a silly take that was. His age proximity to these kids is actually a huge difference maker. Relatability baby!

Davis is putting in some work on the trail. Things are sounding about as good as possible with Coleman.

Autirg25 thought it was an awful hire so you knew Davis was going to do great

I’d be shocked if Coleman wasn’t a commit by his senior season.

We have some behind the scenes influences working hard on Mike Matthews. He loves UT though.

Kickbacks to the high school coaches, that's how you get it done. As much as I dislike Freeze at least he knows how the GOB network operates. Something Harsin never had a clue about.

Can I ask about the receiver board.

Thompson and Matthews, we give it the college try but probably not. Cam Coleman it sounds like a very good shot. Who else is on the board that we have a realistic chance of and how many receivers are we taking?

4* WRs BJ Gibson and Mario Craver are two others to track. Gibson is visiting for the first time tomorrow. Craver has been around quite a bit, but it seems clear they’re behind the others we’ve mentioned so far.

5* OT Jonathan Daniels planned to make a quick visit to Auburn yesterday but his LSU trip ran a bit later than expected.

He told JLee he’s planning several trips to Auburn still

UR LB/Edge Jakaleb Faulk (‘25) was at practice yesterday too. That’s Keldric’s brother and he profiles early as a likely top recruit in that class
