Alpine we like you bro but goodness like the discussion yesterday Utah in no way compares to AU. Not now, not today, not yesteryear, not ever.

I showed you were full of crap yesterday with your NFL statement. Man up accept the loss and move on to Auburn. Is your loyalty to AU or to Utah? You can’t serve 2 masters.

Coarch, I met Mike Holmgren as I was digging up fence posts in my back yard in 2004. He was looking to buy a house for his daughter, who was starting med school at the U. The house next door to us was for sale. We talked and ate lunch. Day old pork tenderloin and salad. Holmgren is a gigantic human being. He didn't buy the house.

Seriously. No. One. Cares.

I don’t even post that much and you drove me to post with your 4 pages of damn Utah garbage in an AU recruiting board.

Go find a Utah board or STFU.

I'm too old for the profile. Are you not entertained? Otherwise we'd be talking about AU recruiting.

I have a good Dan Marino story.

Auburn an early favorite for 6'4 305 lb JUCO DL and former 4* and A&M player Derick Hunter. He redshirted his first season then played 10 games in 2020 and recorded 2 tackles for loss. Brumbaugh has been heavily recruiting him this summer and he'll visit sometime this month and make his decision in December.

So he has 45% ending up at FSU, 50% at Clemson, & 5% Auburn

Clemente posted an update on our Edge board after Faulk committed to Florida State.

1. Qua Russaw - This is a battle between Auburn, Alabama, and UGA. Him and 5* Teammate James Smith are viewed as a package deal and both OVed Auburn this summer and will OV to Bama during the season.

Neither will be at Big Cat as they'll be at UF instead, but will be at many games this season and if Auburn can win 8+ games and be competitive with nil they might be able to pull it off.

2. Gabriel Harris (UGA commit)- he OVed in June and left with a few positives working in Auburn's favor for a flip. The biggest thing is playing time, Harris sees the opportunity to play immediately and that stuck out in a big way. He'll visit for the Mercer game as his former teammate plays for them but he won't have a final decision until signing day.

3. Tausili Akana- he UOVed in June and left with a positive review and hopes to return for a game this fall. He's the #60 overall player in 247 composite and #8 edge, he's a high priority recruit for many schools across the country with Oklahoma trending atm. If he OVs to Auburn he could be a name to seriously look at.

4. Wilky Denaud- is down to Auburn, FSU, Tennessee, and Indiana. Faulk committing to FSU could help us since FSU already has several edge rushers committed. He has 2 CBs to FSU. He will OV for the Penn State game.

5. Reuben Bain - it looked like an Auburn-Miami battle for him, but Bama has since entered the picture and has taken the lead after his OV there.

6- Rico Walker- he'll make a decision at the end of July or early August. UNC and Maryland are the schools trending, but is a name to watch down the road since he visited in the spring and has family connections to Auburn.

We don't have much water right now because of the generational drought. But we are 34th in football recruiting. Natty incoming.

I know that talking about Utah is your thing but this is an Auburn board so please excuse us if we dont follow your particular interest. It’s OK if you disagree with me. Doesn’t hurt my feelings any

Love you Jonesy. Homo. DWI.

To be fair, Alpine is as Auburn and sports in general as they come. The difference between him and many posters here is perspective. Alpine grew up in Auburn and has spent much of his life and fandom away from Auburn and can see things from different perspectives (I am in the same boat, but much further away), notably, often comparing Utah and other teams and programs outside the SEC to / and AU on many occasions. Lord knows we all would be better off trying to see and understand many things from different perspectives.

Just my two cents. "taking a step back" or "reevaluating" is often sound advice. Spending significant time far and away from Auburn, being from and growing up and knowing Auburn, and listening to and considering those opinions, comparisons, etc. brings a different perspective. Outside looking in, like all of us, but from very different perspectives. Kumbaya motherfrickers.

We might be in a good position with '24 4* DB A'Mon Lane from Moody. Says it's between us and LSU, wants to commit soon, and is coming to BCW.

I. Do. Don't you dare speak for HRV bitch.

Lighten up everyone. Football will be here soon enough. IF CBH puts an exciting, talented, all-out effort product on the field, come eat your crow and let's go from there. IF...I said.

That being said, I'm POSI 2022. WDE.

13-2 'ship. Not sure how it happens, except that it can only happen the Auburn way. Strap in and buckle up because it is almost time to put helmets on and hit people. And don't sleep on our QBs and what CBH and Kiseau are doing with them and our offense. We may be "sucking" currently in "recruiting rankings", but that can all change come September. Maybe...just maybe, CBH and staff have their priorities in order: #1) Field a hard hitting, close, extremely competitive and disciplined team and win, and #2) recruiting will fall into place. Our coaches, team, program and Auburn as a whole deserves all the support it can get. I plan to be home and make every game I can this year. It is always a "once in a lifetime chance." Literally.

Hope he just likes Auburn cause most of that staff won’t be there his senior year.

A’Mon is a good kid and knows it takes hard work. I worry about his top end speed as a corner but is physical so safety is probably where he ends up at .

Should go after him at Moody and Henderson at Leeds hard. Both really good players.

I think the staff should also put out a feeler for ‘23 prospect at Moody Davion Dozier. He’s a very solid 3 star WR with size. Maybe he can walk on the basketball team as well dude has got hops.
