quote:That's an "I don't want to burn any bridges" statement. Like you said, writing is on the wall for this one. I'm just glad we are finally starting to see some things shake out regardless of how it ends up.
Formby told 247 that’s Auburn is still involved but didn’t want to use an OV there because a it’s nearby/he’s visited a lot

Sounds like Koy Moore just needed his grades in place for the semester to officially make a move. I think he’s eligible to play in the fall since he’s been in the portal for quite a while. Hopefully that’s the case if he commits

Dukes posted an update on Air Noland. Said he had a REALLY good camp, his dad told Dukes about a week ago that we lead but it's early and that as a family they'll never forget who believed in his son early, he said he knows Auburn believes in him and Air loves Auburn. He was named QB MVP.
Edit* Added quotes from Jason's article.
He said that it was good getting that feel he had last year. He said that he was already on campus so why not compete with the other guys. He said that most guys would have sat out and went on an unofficial visit, but he wanted to take coaching from Coach Harsin and Kiesau and go from there.
He said that it’s very important building relationships, not only on the field but off the field. He says that coming to camps means a lot, so why not come to camps and compete and take it from there.
He said they give him feedback when they come back from Auburn and when they all go there they give each other feedback. That plays a big role in his recruitment.
He said loves Auburn a lot and they he plans on coming back and his family loved it a lot.
also per Jason's article he plans to narrow things down his junior season. He said he feels he did well at the camp but still has things he needs to improve on. He also said the opportunity to work with the staff was a big deal for him and the highlight of his day

Clemente posted 2024 5* DL Hevin Brown-Shuler is on an Unofficial visit and was part of the camp and was named DL MVP
summary of quotes from Clemente's article:
He said his visit was good and they're going to get it out of you make sure you’re staying in shape.
He said that Brumbaugh gave him some good, hard coaching. Got him right. fixed him up on a couple steps he need to work on that he can work on himself.
He says that Brumbaugh told him from what he’s seen from his film that can play everywhere, he didn’t discredit any other schools.
Brumbaugh said he'd be perfect at any school because of how versatile he is that he can play anywhere on the D-line.
He talked about Bo Jackson went and all the greats went here he said that Derrick Brown went here and his brother goes here now, so we produce great defensive linemen here.
He said he's working on coming to a game this fall.
He said Auburn will definitely be making the cut of teams he's considering.

summary of quotes from Clemente's article about 2024 4* OT Kam Pringle's visit today.
He said he really likes the campus and with Auburn building a new facility it really adds to the table and he likes the warm family feeling from the coaches. He said he had 5 coaches walking him out and thanking him for coming by.
Pringle's visit was an unofficial and he didn't participate in the camp, but he watched it and observed Friend's coaching.
He said it was really good watching him coach and he likes to see coaches in action and how they coach cause a lot of coaches can recruit but can't coach.
Pringle said Auburn will definitely be in his top group and he'll be coming back for a game this fall. He said meeting the coaches and experiencing the environment was great.
he currently has one CB to SC.

summary of quotes from Clemente's article about Tausili Akana's visit:
Akana said the coaches stood out getting to meet them face to face, putting a name to the face, and getting to spend time with them and build a relationship.
He said that he wants to play in the SEC and play with the best of the best.
He told 247 that everything is kind of open, and he's just taking it all in.
He said he plans to return this fall for a game and a OV could be in the works too.
Auburn has 3 Edges on scholarship with 2 of them seniors so Akana could earn immediate playing time. He said he was told he could come in and play early, but he'd have to earn it.
He visited Tennessee yesterday and will visit Bama tomorrow, LSU on Sunday, A&M on Monday, Baylor on Tuesday, and Texas on Wednesday.

Auburn also had ‘24 QB Jake Merklinger from Savannah, GA on campus. Sounds like him and Geriner and their families know eachother really well. Says he’ll come to a game this fall

Sorry, I had seen Jones do it when he would copy paste direct quotes from recruits so I thought quotes from recruits were an exception. I can edit the posts where I've done it and just quote it myself if I need to. Edit: I'm going back and editing all of the posts with quotes from recruits and re word them the best I can

Very true. I post a lot of full quotes. IMO — they’re fair game. I do leave some out, though. Credit the website and writer of course
Probably best to lightly summarize everything else and give some time for the intel articles to shine on the source website or leave out some nuggets for a few days.
Just use your best judgement

quote:I did that, but still got on to from rig so I'll just go back and edit out all of the quotes from recruits. That's the only thing I quoted directly from the articles was quotes from recruits nothing else, but that must not matter in rigs mind.

Jason wrote an article about 2024 4* WR and teammate of Micah Riley-Ducker, Daevonn Hall's visit yesterday so I'll summarize the best I can without getting on Rig's bad side:
He said the visit was super cool and when they first got here they were trying to see everything, it was great competition. He was at UGA Thursday and that was good competition, he said all of the testing was cool and his numbers were good he said everything went well.
Hall is listed at 6'1 and 176 lbs and he ran a 4.53 in the 40 yd dash for one of the three fastest recorded times of the day.
He got an opportunity to hang out with his teammate Riley-Ducker and get his take on Auburn. He said that Riley-Ducker loves it here and talks about the drive everybody has and how everyone wants to win.
Hall said he loves what he heard and he loves talking to the coaches and says that they bring alot of passion.
He currently has 7 offers and after visiting he says Auburn will be on the radar for him and he hopes to get an offer soon. He says he keeps in contact with the coaches a lot.
He says an offer would mean a lot especially with Riley-Ducker here. He said talking to Riley-Ducker he knows what good things that they're bringing and coming here would be cool.

I can’t help it
You do a good job of giving enough but still keeping it in a summary. That’s really all I’m recommending. A few years back someone was close to getting booted off the board for sharing info from pay sites so I’m trying help prevent that.

I don't get why quoting recruits is taboo, I understand not quoting Intel from beat writers, but not direct quotes from recruits.
I don't really consider quotes from recruits Intel, but maybe the writers do idk, but what I consider Intel is for example Auburn has a coaching change and they list candidates or if there will be a coaching change, but it hasn't happened yet or if they have Intel someone will be committing soon or visiting soon, etc I don't quote that stuff, but I don't consider quotes from recruits Intel but maybe that's just me.
