Would just like to add to what big margarita enthusiast Lanier has to say:
Freeze has done some bad and stupid crap and we can all agree on that. From the scandals, to the DM situation, he's had his fair share of troubles.
I think we should judge him as if he has a fresh slate, and he's massively improved things for us over the last few weeks. We were #56 in the rankings and he brought us to a top 20 ranking. He's brought enthusiasm and he's done the right things so far.
I hope he takes his time here as a moment of self-reflection and hopefully becomes a better person and a better coach out of this. The players believe in him and we should as well.

I'm not sure you know what either of those things mean. You can go back and look at numerous threads before he was hired. You think if Bama, UGA, LSU etc... had hired a head coach with the past of Hugh Freeze we would just let it ride? Give me a break, at least be somewhat honest with yourself.

I've said my piece on Hugh and it hasn't and won't change. Based on numerous unsavory actions over the course of a number of years he's shown what kind of person he is. I'm not saying he hasn't, or can't change, but based on his previous actions he is not someone I would ever want representing me or my university. Forgiveness isn't the same as acceptance.
I admittedly had my melt and have distanced my emotional investment in Auburn football. I am not continuing to "spewing filth" toward Hugh but am pointing on that others, especially our rivals, will and Auburn fans are going to have to pull up their big boy pants and take it.

What do you have to accept? What do you have to forgive? He's a football coach. Is he your pastor? Do you work with him? Does he show up at your house? Just wondering how he's harmed you personally so I can understand where forgiveness and acceptance comes into play.
Or his he beneath your high standards? He's not as good of a person as you are? I will make a note that Savage is above reproach...the finest of individuals.

Not to get all crazy in this conversation and go all religious on everyone but the Bible states in the New Testament that if you lust with your eyes you have committed adultery in your heart.
I’m a sinner. I’ve always been a sinner. My salvation is found in Jesus Christ and nothing I can do to save myself.
I don’t accept what Freeze did socially but he paid his dues, he got fired, he worked things out with his wife and family, and now he has a second chance. If they are good with it and God has forgiven him then I will leave it at that.
Good luck to y’all that keep complaining about something that happened 7 years ago.

That is a preemptory comment for the inevitable comments like the ones you made later in your post. It has nothing to do with me being better than him, or anyone else, it has to do with him being a scumbag which he has proven himself to be. Me, and I guess this makes me an outlier, I don't want a scumbag being the face of something I hold dear.
