Great news on Love, even if it was somewhat expected. Should definitely help us build some momentum going into summer.

Read we offered him because Clemson turned up the heat on the kid from Birmingham, and they may lead now.

3* QB. Cool.
One thing I'm not concerned about is Harsin's evaluations and development of QB's. He's done it going back to being a position coach, then OC under Petersen at Boise State. Improved the QB's at Texas and Arky State, then had really productive QB's when he went back to Boise State.

That’s a fair point. Harsin has earned the benefit of the doubt at QB. You can even look at Geriner who was a 3* when we first were on him.

Georgia OL Amarius Mims and Clay Webb have entered the transfer portal, @TheAthletic has learned. Both are former 5-star recruits.

The Mims chatter is all Miami. Even before he was in the portal

On Webb — supposedly he can’t keep weight on. Might be looking to join army/navy/air force/space force.

KN CB’d 4* RB Jeremiah Cobb to Auburn

Also noticing that KN CB’d 4* OT Stanton Ramil to Auburn back in March. Him, Joiner, and Wedin would be a solid start to this OL class

Potato posse doing work. Harsin must have kissed the ring like Gus/Tubs. Lets do some illegal stuff and sign some players. LFG.

It’s not illegal anymore. Just have to be willing to pony up.

It’s always more fun drinking while underage. Now it’s just an expensive habit

I like Cobb. He isn’t a feature back, IMO. Can’t be the only RB

If he’s not the number 1 on the board this class then I’m ok with his commit but we should be aiming much higher for a stud running back. Alston and Cobb can give you reps but aren’t in the same ball park with some of just a few recent backs at AU much less our running back history.

Is he like another dreaded Kam Martin or something?

Hard to pin him, honestly. Comes down to whether you believe his film. I don’t think his completion is great but he’s got track speed and has the change of direction a lot of backs lack. Really shifty and houses a ton of runs. My concern is his frame I guess. He’s plenty tall at 5’11 but he’s pretty thin

He has also grown a ton it seems. Some old measurements had him a year ago around 5-9. Easy to forget these kids are rapidly changing

Nearly missed this gem.

Special shout-out to Etheridge for reeling in that safety. I’m glad Harsin didn’t let Georgia poach him away.
