About what you wanted from a cupcake game. Letting some scout team players get some burn.
Very clean game with the 2 deep. Robby and Thorne looked great in their roles. Thorne is easily the man but Robby is gonna make some huge plays. He will hit a pop pass or 2 over the season that might be game breakers.
Plus we put a ton of stuff to make teams works on a crap ton of stuff. Thorne with the RPO, Robby with the zone read, onside kick, massive punt returns, aggressive on kickoff returns.

I've been Geriner's biggest fan on here. I like seeing other people talking about him now too. I'm just trying not to go full jville for him lol.

Absolutely. I know the competition isn't the best, but I remember the JSU D-line eating the lunch of our O-line several years ago.
This lineup may not be elite, or even very good, we just don't know, but they don't look like straight garbage right now.

I don’t think we solved the red zone. Robby did well there and made the correct reads but UMASS looked lost defending it. I didn’t think anything else looked out of place except that weird onside kick attempt

Lol yes. I can hear my neighbors going bananas too
They’ll probably pour on a few TDs late and skirt criticism but this hasn’t looked fun. They’re not getting the ball downfield and their OL isn’t creating anything
