I do think that Auburn’s recruiting department provides information and they confirm some details in stories (KN says this staff prefers to work quietly). But it’s mostly what you said — from talking to recruits and their families, high school coaches, and so on.

His high school injuries really never allowed him to get in the mix at QB for LSU. Transferred to UTSA, played a season and then got injured again the following year.
