This is going to be a great trip for the team. Flanigan some game speed reps to see if you can depend on him after hopefully fully getting healthy. JayWill and Yohan to see if we can run the offense through the 4 spot. Westry and Donaldson to see where they are defensively.
Added Bonus Bruce gets to take the fellas to where God in flesh walked the earth. God Bless our messianic Jewish coach Bruce Pearl!!

Someone finally made it to Auburn. Just in time for the trip.
This is what the writers were saying was going to happen for a while.

Odds have tightened a bit.. Jabari now just -140 to go first overall. Interested to see how it plays out. #1 would be great for perception but OKC maybe a better spot to land for him.

Woj spoiling the draft a full day in advance this year
LINK
He says it's going to be Jabari #1
I initially felt this way, bc SGA is better than anyone Orlando has, and Giddey is going to be pretty good. But OKC is really thin, Jabari wouldn't get much help there outside of those guys.
I think Orlando has more pieces and is a lot closer to putting together a decent squad. They're actually going to have to get rid of some guys
PG- Cole Anthony/ Markelle Fultz
SG- Jalen Suggs/ Gary Harris/ RJ Hampton
SF- Franz Wagner/ Chuma/ Terrance Ross
PF- Jabari/ Mo Wagner/ Bol Bol
C- Wendell Carter/ Mo Bamba/ Robin Lopez
They'll 100% trade Jonathan Isaacs after signing Jabari, and as you can see they have other dudes to trade as well.
Granted, most of those guys are still projects who need a lot of development, or just straight up need to prove they can stay healthy and on the court for a full season.
One thing I am sure of though, is that Jabari and Franz Wagner opposite each other in the wings is going to be an absolutely filthy combo

The thought of Chuma Okeke and Jabari Smith Jr being on the court at the same time has me pitching a tint.

Selfishly, I'd like the 1st #1 draft in AU history. He and Isaac could, in a few years with a few pieces, make Orlando a very competitive team, and who better to lead that resurgence (surgence?) than two former AU alums? I am all for Jabari going #1 to the Magic and giving them 2-3 years to improve. If Jabari proves his mettle, offers will come from everywhere. Barring injury or health issues, he has a LONG NBA career in front of him. Personally, I'd like to see him go #1 and start it off in Orlando with Isaac, who his coming into his own and will mentor the shite out of Jabari. And he will need that, as good as he is. War Damn Magic!

Why in the world would they keep Isaac if they draft Jabari? Wouldn't make any sense
I don't think he has anything to mentor Jabari on either. You say that like Isaac is some all-star level player instead of the scrub who can't stay on the court that he actually is

I believe he is confusing Chuma and Okoro lol

Sounds like Banchero might be going #1. Jabari could end up falling to 3
