I don’t know how the preferences work out when you’re such a low seed. I think after the first 4 seed lines it’s pretty much luck of the draw as far as where they will place you. If we are a 10 we will be in a pod with a 2 so we will probably be at the mercy of how it shakes out among the 2’s, and we know one of the Birmingham pods will be a 1 seed pod so that reduces the odds further. My prediction is we get sent off to Cali lol

Just not sure he is quick enough for guarding

He’s not IMO. He also doesn’t have the ability to beat you off the dribble like you’d want out of a 3. If Jaylin played 30 years ago he’d be a legend with his hook shot.

Worst case is we get sent to Greensboro to play against Duke. Would basically be a road game. I like the way we matchup with them on the court but not in a road game lol

Don’t care where just want a decent draw. No Memphis or Miami!

Jaylin is pretty good offensive 4 and is decent in some ways on defense but terrible in others. And obviously is a very weak rebounder. The weird thing about him is that he doesn’t match the tenacity Bruce teams are always filled with. Every other player on our team has it

I’m hoping for Duke (away from Greensboro) or Maryland or Illinois for a first round matchup

I think Flanigan is due some credit. Three huge games in row and he has had 17,16,15 with really good shot selection and only 2 TO’s per game.

Big guards are a tough matchup for us.

This team is ok. Let’s see who we matchup with first round. A 7 seed will be a team that has some flaws. We have flaws. Maybe we will not be playing a 7 seed with three 6’4” guards.

I do not want Duke. They’re starting to play much better ball.

Might be right. I haven't watched them much since December outside of the Carolina games

37-19 on the boards. How does Jaylin only get 1 rebound in 30 minutes? Pathetic

We apparently don’t like to rebound. That’s a lot of extra chances for Arkansas.

We went 4-9 in our last 13 games. Oof.

One article said we may the #10 seed playing in the west region, Sacramento, against FAU.

Apparently they were subbing Jaylin in yesterday and he told them to leave Moore in. Honestly probably was the better move but that mentality is why Jaylin is limited

It was the smart move but that’s the mentality I want from a role player, not someone I’m relying on to win.

We haven’t won an SEC tournament game two straight seasons.

Tough times on the plains.

And we won 4 straight to win it the last time we played in it before then.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Ok, no I'm not, because it's irrational.

And then before then, 1 and done.

I remember that because Pearl bemoaned before that tournament that we have to either win it all or not worth going far because there is no rest before the NCAA tournament.

I think I'd be super content with just winning 1 and then going home but 1 and done is no fun. I don't think we've gone 1 and done in the big dance in my lifetime, hope that doesn't change next week
