From Nate King

Robbins went 3-10 from the field (scoring 7 points) and finished with 24 with 17 of that coming at the FT line.

Pretty much this. We have to win two of four the rest of the way.

That will get us in though, it won't be just a chance. A two point loss to Vandy and losses to Kentucky and Bama on the road isn't going to drop us that much in the NET.

The Big Ten and ACC being really down this year will help us as well.

At one point J will and Broome had 37 out of 57 points.

Tournament is a guards game.

Even if we do make it into the tournament then I guess we earned a statistic for the SID to update but we will be a quick footnote.

I hope you're right because i think we can get two wins i would just hate to need to win a game in the tournament or sweat it out on Sunday

Robbins made 17 free throws. Both AU and Vandy combined outside of Robbins shot 17 free throws.

That’s BS. What’s the real issue here? We aren’t aggressive enough to get to the line? Refs sucks? Home cookin?

Selection committee has set precedent over the past 4 or so years that whatever happens in conference tournaments (short of winning the thing) doesn’t matter.

Which could be a good or bad thing depending on whether we pick up 2 more wins or not

Not half as dumb as KD Johnson and Wendell Green with the ball in their hands

We've only been to the tournament 11 times in our history, it's a big deal even if we lose in the first round. If nothing else it helps us with recruiting strength.

Really fun game to attend despite the heartbreak. The auburn section was rowdy. Other than Wendell liked how most of the guys played. An absolute stinker from him

This is important to remember. A&M went on an insane run last year and got left out because of their analytics.

We wrecked shop in 2019 and got 0 bump from it. First round or two could hold some weight but not much.

The appearance is a big deal from a historical perspective but realistically even last year was a flame out. We have to exceed some kind of expectations to consider the season a success.

What in the world have we exceeded this year?

So is the guard play the last two seasons. And it’s ruining what could otherwise be good teams, so yeah this is 100x more frustrating to watch

He is an OG that watched 2012 basketball.

Give him the floor.

The few of us deserve that.

Well that was the absolute worst officiated game I’ve attended… would have given a few in game updates but no signal could escape that putrid gym… typical AU guard play this season…
