No clue if it's accurate, but JLee said Dell McGee posted up outside Tank's house the day before signing day to get him to come to UGA. Sounds pretty outlandish but funny if true.
So this would be recruiting during a dead period?

There’s no recruiting right now. Dead period

Seems that a popular trend among elite recruits is still signing early if they can, but the schools agreeing to not announce until the player commits on a later date. Darnell Washington and Ringo both seem to be doing that.

News of which university the recruit signs with still gets leaked though.

Any word if we will pursue Dee Anderson 6'5 grad transfer from LSU?

Gus said he wants to get taller at WR plus he has SEC experience

Not sure. It’s been reported that we have been in communication with 6’4 Malachi Wideman.

Wideman is also a basketball player that just won the city of Palms dunk contest.

Go to 1:30ish of the video.

Oh my that guy is crazy. Reminds me of Chris Porter the way he just throws it down. Plus it said this was his 4th visit to that contest. He has been a monster for a while.

I guess my question is would we really try to flip a FSU commit when they didnt try to take anyone Dilly had recruited?

Probably not if Dilly and Norvell see Wideman as a key piece in their class. They all 3 are probably good buddies.

TLDR - added to roster; don’t exactly know where yet; but he’s a great athlete

At this point we really don’t have room to take another wide receiver in the class. We have up to 4 spots left and they are being used for quarterback, 1-2 OL & 1-2 DL.

It has been known since before Gatewood left that if Gatewood would leave we would have to get a second quaterback. The big question is which quaterback.

Yup! My guess is it’s going to be a CIT type like Cord (Coach In Training).
