He plays in a run first offense and they blow a lot of teams out. He also missed around 4 games with injury. Look at his stats last year before he transferred. I think he's going to be a solid QB for us. Not a starter, but a good back up that won't transfer.

He’s the kind of QB that isn’t going to transfer after a year or two when he doesn’t start. And that’s a necessity in our landscape these days.

I just don’t like how much development he will need. We just don’t have the track record of getting those guys where they need to get

Gotta pray that Bo is our Iron man. He isnt 2nd string material yet.

Any clue as to why he transferred away from a pass friendly offense, jt33?

He def needs time to develop, but right now Sandberg is the back up QB and I would take Garnett over him. Criswell or Morris would be ahead of both on the depth chart though.

As far as I know just transferred into a better program that had more talent. They have a 5* RB and and top 50 WR, as someone said earlier... I'm guessing he thought they would all put up big stats together and win an easy state title.

It would have made things a little easier for sure. Right now he's better than all the other guys we mentioned and if we had him who knows if we take a 2nd QB.

he thinks we are lacking at receiver when we seem to sign decent to large classes every year.
When you consider only about 4 WRs on roster have shown any development he's right.

In his War Room JLee says AU is not the presumed leader for Phillip Webb anymore & that LSU now is. He said AU has a plan in place in case we miss on Webb. Supposedly we are in a very good spot for another target & could get news on him in the next two weeks. He wouldn't give a name but said could be when a poster asked him if he was referring to a flip candidate from someone committed to another Tigers. Combine that with Keith posting this morning confidence is now very high on the finish for this DL class. Could be wrong but sounds like we have a silent from at least 1 target the staff wants a lot.

Is something going on with BJ Ojulari I missed?

If KN and Lee are saying the exact same thing, that’s positive. Sounds like something positive is up!

This reminds me of excuses we made for Gatewood being in a "shared" offense.

So true. Everyone glossed over the fact Gatewood could never win the starting job at any level.

That wasn't an excuse if you knew anything about his High School coach.

Bartram Trail QBs alternate series regardless of performance. There’s no opportunity to play every series

It wasn’t glossed over. It’s been posted here ad nauseam.

Not a big update here, but it looks like 4* QB Criswell (UNC commit) will hold off on singing until February. That’s obviously huge for Auburn
