There's a lot of people guessing the same on 247, but I'm not sure why. UGA stayed with him all night, it was known they we're going to push for him to cancel, today he canceled.. It seems pretty straightforward to me.

Why would it be kept secret that Jones showed up for UOV?
Benefits Jones so Ga coaches don’t pressure him? Or our coaches want it hushed up?

It doesn't make sense to me to keep it quiet.. By the time his visit ended the dead period would start anyway so UGA coaches couldn't pressure him. There's always a chance I guess, but I think this one is over.

When Jones cancelled his OV I knew it was over regardless if he comes to game.
We seen this movie before. We just don’t do well with high profile OL. Our history doesn’t help.
