That’s a big ol boy. Maybe we could use him like that Pope cat UGA had a couple decades ago or whatever.

And there’s no clear word on the total # we’ll take. Auburn doesn’t want that known
It's 27. I talked with Mark Murphy at the game tonight. He still follows that stuff closely even though he does write recruiting articles much anymore. He said 27 is the definite cap including any transfers we may take.

Thanks Ellitor.

So, with Hardy we would be at 23. We get Frazier, Burks, McKinnley and Jones (Buskey is a grade casualty) and call it a day?

We lose McKinnley and Dre Butler is next man up?

Or are we still looking for a QB?

KN says we still feel good about Hardy.

Hardy says he wants to let his recruitment play out though. He wants to unofficially visit both Auburn and Tennessee at least once more. KN says Tennessee commits and signees have really been working him.

What’s the deal with Mark Murphy. Isn’t he that guy that pretends he speaks with any and everyone and all sorts of people go
To him for advice? I thought he was a Bama man. I used to think he was retarded. Now I think it is all just an act.

I’ve only been on 247 for a few months but he’s probably the nicest mod there. Not dismissive and responds to questions and opinions w/o snarky replies.

Tennessee’s starting offensive line in 2020 could be: • 5-Star LT • 5-Star LG • 5-Star RT • 5-Star RG • 4-Star C Heck of a turnaround from a program that had youth/struggles in the trenches recently

Per twitterz

Sad considering our current OL recruiting

Probably best case

If we can land him. Sounds like Oregon is pushing hard for him.

I’m sure we’re still looking.

I don’t know who you’re thinking about but it doesn’t sound like Mark Murphy at all. He’s an Auburn man who has been covering Auburn for at least 40 years. His professionalism has earned him a very good reputation in the AD and he almost always gets the best information.

Mark Murphy is in charge of "Inside the Auburn Tigers". Pretty certain it is our in-house sports publication. You can get it from bookstores or occasionally the grocery store.

Yep! The magazine & the newsletters are their family business.

I think he’s talking about some fake twitter insider that tweets in all CAPS

Murphy also does a spot on Montgomery sports radio once a week. He's pretty good, but refuses to speculate about situations. That forces him to give a lot of PC, AD approved insight.

Definitely not the real Mark Murphy. He doesn’t have a Twitter account.
