I don’t get It either. He came in and got us Cam as an OC and then NM as a HC and both went to the NC game. Since then he just keeps recruiting pro style qb’s. I get Nix, he is an Au legend’s son and to good to pass up, but why doesn’t he recruit true DT Qb’s? And not the “they can pull it and run sometimes” DT qb’s. We should have at least 3 to choose from each year and not just one Gatewood or bust..

From everything I have heard and seen in videos, this kid is listed as a Pro style QB now mainly because of the Offense he played in at Buford, but is really a very good DT QB. He will be a denmark this year in zone read scheme. He has been said to run a 4.6 forty...Cam clocked a 4.81 i believe....so I will take it. I think the kid is a stud and will be an awesome fit. Plus Gus and Dilly worked him out in our scheme multiple times..so ...I dont think this is another Tyler Queen type of player

Cam's combine 40 time was 4.59.

I have not understood that myself. There was zero reason to get away from the 2013/2014 offense when Nick left other than he didnt have a QB to run it. Not sure why it "seems" like he wants pro set guys more now. I mean he knows about 10000 times more than all of us put together but from the outside looking in, it seems like a mistake

I think his Auburn Camp 40 was 4.7 and his recorded one from the opening (which seems to be less flattering to all athletes) is 4.8

Maybe he had a bad spring game? 
He’s got one of the best offer sheets in the country. He has size and speed. Anyone’s guess as to why 247 has him outside of the top 500.

My internal source says that is not exactly true
Just saying. And that this kid is certainly better suited for a Pro set than a dual threat.
