Not a valid excuse. There was a camera angle replay later in the game that essentially showed from MW's POV.
You don't know how it was report in practice. Knowing our coach is a guy who think fullback pass is an acctable play. There is a great chance they didn't two it with 6 people in front of Willis.

How a negabarner can defend that decision from Malik is beyond me.
Yes he had 6 people in front of him but they were five yards away and the guy the play was designed for was wide fricking open in the end zone

How someone could think that stupid arse play would ever work is beyond me.

All it took was a semi accurate 5 yards throw and a catch.
The scheme worked. Only thing missing was the right decision by the QB

Plays generally work better when the players execute them correctly.

The CoxCat was dumb even if jump pass came open. Shockingly FBs aren't great at reading defenses
The first 2 pt conversion was fine. Willis didn't execute. The "had 6 men in front of him" argument is hilarious. All he had to do was take the snap, one step & throw to a wide open receiver. That's a fail on Willis

Owen Pappoe only has 2 OVs left. One will go to AU obviously but the other will apparently go to Tennessee according to KN. KN said this is actually a positive development as he's not using it on UGA tho expects him to take an unofficial there at some point. Pappoe will OV for the AU/TEN game which is the same one Morris is taking an OV to. KN thinks Pappoe is locked in with AU right now

Wolk put up an insider yesterday, some highlights
- AU bummed to lose 2020 DE commit Andy Boykin as he was a guy Garner prioritized early. UGA is the team to beat & apparently he's cousins with former Dawg Brandon Boykin. AU will keep recruiting but it doesn't look good. But there are other options. AU has made Myles Murphy a top priority & Will Anderson is apparently a name to watch moving forward
- Wolk believes fact AU made decision to move on from Jakai Clark that the feel good about one or more of their top interior targets in 5* C Clay Webb, 4* OG William Putnam & 3* OG Kamaar Bell. Webb is expected to be at AU/LSU next week
- This weekend won't be a big recruiting weekend for Tigers. Wolk thinks AU will use it as a chance to get familiar with new recruiting facility. Don't expect many top targets on campus especially with LSU the next week
- One name to watch tho is 2020 OL Tate Johnson who will visit. He's teammates with AU commit Keiondre Jones & helps block for one of AU's top 2020 RB targets Tank Bigsby
- Wolk says the 2 most important visitors for AU at Washington game were 5* WR Jadon Haselwood & 2021 QB Brock Vandagriff. Hasewlood visiting was a bit of a surprise considering UGA had a home game. Wolk believes race will go down to the wire. As for Vandagriff, he's become the top AU QB target for 2021 & grew up in an AU family.
- Wolk followed up on recent Rivals story where Noah Cain basically said LSU is team to beat. However, he continues to say how things go early in the year will be huge. LSU's big win over Miami was obviously a big help. However, Wolk believes that AU/LSU game might end up having a bigger affect on a single prospect than he can ever remember. Cain won't be at the game because IMG plays that Saturday but he will OV for Tennessee
- Also followed up on UGA Rivals story on Trezman Marshall who had a lot of nice things to say about AU & also doesn't seem completely sure about his UGA decision. Wolk still thinks Pappoe factor could be big here. He's expected to OV to UGA for TEN, then FSU for CLEM & AU wants his last OV which will probably be A&M
Wolk said in the comments he has heard there is a ton of confidence on AU's side that they will pair another elite LB with Pappoe this class. He isn't sure who that is right now tho

Wolk later commented on OL recruiting in the thread saying if AU can't find a HS OT they like then they will go the transfer route with the new rules. AU isn't crazy about any of the JUCO OTs.
He also had an interesting nugget on RB recruiting. If it were up to Horton, AU wouldn't be putting all its eggs on Cain.
If true then what happens in this RB class is on Gus.

Isn't this what we're doing anyway? Hasn't it been said multiple times we're not pursuing anyone else until Cain makes a decision

Yes, what he's saying is that Horton may not agree with that decision but that's what Gus wants to do

I think that's a good move. Hopefully we land another talented HS OT tho

No offense but when is this not true?

Wanya Morris told KN that he's recruiting OP hard to Tennessee.
I'm not worried about losing OP but I hope our staff dosn't spend anymore energy on WM since he's actively recruiting against us.

Ahh I got ya, I personally like Richards then Cain. Both seem to be long shots right now

OP is actively recruiting WM to AU aswell. We’re talking about high school kids being kids. It’s how things work. I think Clark even made it publicly known that he visited Tennessee to recruit Morris.

I know WM is recruiting/solid to UT now, but a bad season (3-9 or 4-8) will definitely play a factor. It's one thing to say you don't care how they finish in the preseason, it's another when they are the laughing stock of CFB.

It sounds like they've sold him on being a big piece to the turn around of the program, so a bad season might not play much into it.

KN says 2020 WR EJ Williams will be at game. Was close to committing until everybody started offering him
