4/5 are juniors this year and a couple have the potential to leave early if they have big seasons.

Internet ratings Era Overall Recruiting Rankings Taken from the main board, but I found it interesting. Clearly UGA and UT have underperformed. Bama's ranking is low due to the probation years (They were 47th one year). What is interesting for this thread is Auburn is at 14th.

From 2002 to 2018.

14) AU

23) Ole Miss

KN says he will probably start at CB but staff think he could play anywhere

Personally I like him more at safety. To me our DB class right now looks like

CB - Jaylin Simpson, Zion Puckett
S - Jashawn Sheffield, Cam'Ron Kelly

Add either Nehemiah Pritchett, Kenny Logan or Dreshun Miller to that group & we good. Wouldn't be surprised if we just stuck with those 4 though & use that scholly elsewhere (like maybe OL or DL)

I do think the fact that Iggy can flip to CB in the spring & immediately become a starter shows some concerns at that position. Some if it is probably he's a freak athlete but some of it is probably some older guys not getting it done

Let's say Dean & Javaris leave early. Next year's DB depth chart could look something like this

Nickel - Jordyn Peters | Jayvaughn Myers
CB - Christian Tutt | Zion Puckett
S - Jeremiah Dinson | Jamien Sherwood | Jashawn Sheffield
S - Daniel Thomas | Smoke Monday | Cam'Ron Kelly
CB - Noah Igbinoghene | Roger McCreary | Jaylin Simpson

Not bad...

Also interesting note from KN. Kelly trains with same trainer that former AU target Devon Hunter used to work with. Trainer apparently has a high opinion of AU & so Kelly has been hearing positive things about AU for awhile

Now just need Derick Hall to ahead & jump on board this month too

Ya losing Booth still sucks but it doesn't suck as much as it would have in the past

Very interested to see who gets final spot in DB class. KN seems to think AU will take one more. Pritchett seems the favorite but fact he isn't on board yet makes me wonder if they got something else cooking
