Sorry guys, looks like my novella caused a big derail. I'm in Djibouti for awhile, daily shite from UGA/Clem fans, was ready to give them some shite instead. Just want the best for AU even if I'm a dg Yankee. Bring on the season.

Nope. I liked it. Lots of truth there. People just dont like that kind of thing sometimes.

This commitment kind of feels like the Patriots signing Brock Osweiler to a backup QB position when they already have Tom Brady - sure, I guess it is good to have QB depth, but I fully expect Nix to handily win the starting job even as a true freshman.

I don’t have a problem with signing him at all. More depth and more competition. I think we just all want Nix to come in and be the next guy, but there is never any guarantee of that.

Ditto, I'm pumped about it. I could see Cord starting next year on a short leash. Maybe he balls out or maybe Nix takes over mid-season.

So Sandberg's high school career was alright.

Sandberg looks legit.

By now we should just accept that if Dan Mullin wanted this guy, he is Heisman quality. Dont believe me? Just list the Qbs he has recruited at Florida and at Miss St

I’m guessing 8? Maybe 7?

Either way, the guy is obviously a pretty decent athlete. He doesn’t have to be a starting QB to be an asset to the team. He can help us just by being a mature presence in the locker room. He will be an excellent sidekick to Stidham. They both have their heads screwed on straight. Both have hot fiance’s/GFs. And I imagine Cord can figure out how to play his role without stirring up any dissent among the natives.
