I think UGA is in for a major reality check this year. I don't see them winning at SCar this year in week 2 also UT and UF will be way better than they were last year. UGA replaces 2 generational type RBs and the best LB in CFB, they will see some growing pains imo.

He would do work in our system though. Good lateral quickness and powerful. Doesn't necessarily have elite top end speed but that hasn't stopped other backs from being really good in Gus's system
think...Ben Tate

My understanding is he's been solid on the camp scene but he's been outshown by a few guys (Trey Sanders, John Emery, Tyrion Davis). But I think his fall was a little too steep. I think he's a borderline Top 100 player

I agree. He probably wouldn't end up as a Heisman contender, but he would produce for us. He would be fairly on par with our RB recruiting recently. He's not on the tier of the three you mentioned, but he's still a very good option.
ETA: I think the Ben Tate comparison is a good one.

Can't remember if Paw posted this but JLee had an update om 3* DT LaDarrius Cox yesterday.
-Steele has picked up the pace on Cox & ir's paying off
-Visited for BCW & will be back at least 2 more times (July Cookout & Fall OV)
-AU Vols battle right now
-Pruitt & Rocker working hard to keep Cox committed to them
-Watch out for AU though

Seriously? They will have a top 5 defense and have recruited extremely well. I think they're easily undefeated when we meet them in November.

They lost all their LBs and most of their secondary, and key pieces to their DL. To be honest they weren't too good on Defense last year, mostly bend but don't break. Lock, Mayfield,Stidham and others put big numbers on Kirby's D.

I posted this on the rant a few weeks ago and it’s absolutely not a knock against UGA but they will take a step back. With their schedule, however, I don’t think that matters. They’re clear favorites in each game. I expect their younger talent to really improve by season’s end. The depth chart is young but it’s one of the most loaded in college football.
We just have to beat them. And unfortunately if things go our way we may have to beat them twice.

SCAR has a nicely set up schedule like UGA did last year. If they can beat UGA in week 2 and not lose two conference games, I think they win the east. We would need to be the other loss on UGA’s schedule for this to happen.

FYI according to Miami 247 they are expecting AU 2020 commit Andy Boykin at their big event in July. Also expecting AU targets Jadon Haselwood & Mark-Antony Richards

I need to see that offense produce before I believe in the Gamecocks. They promoted McClendon but brought in Freeze's old OC in Dan Werner so curious to see what they look like. They to me are really the only threat in the SEC East. Mizzou will score points but they won't be able to stop UGA running the ball. Not sure Mullen has a QB & that defense continues to get worse. No idea how Tennessee looks but doubt they got the horses to hang with UGA right now
UGA/LSU is the wildcard. Aranda's defense will probably slow the UGA offense but can they score?

-Some messages to me yesterday after my crystal ball on Andrew Booth to Auburn. He is a VERY GOOD player and I think he is going to be a star on the next level. For whatever reason, UGA was never really in in deep with him. He just didn’t talk much about them. I thought Clemson for a long time, but Auburn did a good job of taking this one over last few months in my opinion.
Rusty on Booth

Always tough to beat Clemson out for a guy they want. Auburn has had decent success against Clemson, probably 50/50 with them for most guys we both want and are finalists for.
Booth could be the difference in a top 10 and top 5 class.

Clemson has stolen a few away from Auburn that really stung.

quote: Auburn is essentially getting unlimited recruiting access through Cam’s 7on7 team. That’s the biggest thing right now. Auburn fans will claim otherwise, but Gus is using that “AAU” style approach to football recruiting. Also, Gus is selling immediate playing time. They have not recruited well so their depth is awful. As for Pappoe and Booth specifically, I don’t think either are actually from the state of Georgia. Like most transplants, they don’t mind venturing out. We’ve been hearing similar stuff about Haselwood. Although, Oklahoma is our biggest threat.
God I love it, so many of those leg humping retards still so broken over 2010. Now comes conspiracies

MSST 247 guy says AU hasn't really moved needle yet with 3* OT Charles Cross but did admit that feels like Bulldogs are fading in hunt for Derick Hall but fact he might not make decision until August gives them a chance to try & make up ground

Just got around to listening to Keith's interview with Derick Hall's mom & it sounds really good for us. Momma loves Gus
She also loves Cam & Montravius Adams

UT may be better. I don't follow them that closely. UF upgraded the HC, but they have a talent deficiency. McElwain did a piss poor job recruiting.
