He is a rules don't apply to me type. Was suspended a few games last season. Probability of him coming in, working hard, and producing for three years is low.

You’ve stated your Pickens opinion on here more than once... time to let it go and let things play out.

I know he gets in trouble a good bit, but haven't heard of any major issues.
Thanks!

Sincere thanks for the reply. I hope the light comes on with him. He could be a freak WR if it does.

Pickens won’t be the Top Dog when he gets here. He will have older guys, and better leaders get in his grill if he is screwing around.

When your QB has a drug problem it’s tough to lead anyone, except to the dealer’s house. Makes getting people in line difficult. (Looking at you Sean, directly at you.)

Sean didn’t have a “drug” problem. Alcohol is what got him finally kicked off the team.

Alcohol is a drug, but I know that’s not what you meant.

Lane Kiffin is going to make a fricking awesome coach soon, and not just at FAU. He will get his chance at a big name school and succeed.

It was probably more of a system problem. He wasn’t the next coming or anything, but clean and sober he could have done well in the right place. There are a lot worse

I love this completely fricking wrong narrative you push.

You are going to gloss over all the previous suspensions, “unspecified absences”, “undisclosed medical issues”, etc., etc, etc.?

U can’t be serious. It wasn’t just alcohol, or occasional THC urine saturation. He was doing several things, and would have been gone sooner, had we not had another “special” young man behind him.

In Lanier’s defense, he Is 100% correct. He was his own worst enemy. How did he think he would go unnoticed at 2am, when he was staggering down the sidewalk? After being caught doing other special child things numerous times already? There are probably a dozen phone numbers given to the guys for rides. Probably knows several GA’s or trainers who would gladly picked him up.

I’m not going to argue with conjecture. Just know that conjecture is what it is.

Nothing major. Still 50-50. Still thinks he will commit before his football season. AU & commits still confident. The only new stuff in there is he will visit Clemson July 27 & AU some time that week as well though he hasn't set a date yet (AU Cookout is July 28 FTR). Booth also had a phone issue if Paw wants to discuss that.

Can we attribute his Clemson commitment to the phone booth issue?
