It's because all the insiders (AU, UGA, nationally) are all now projecting him to UGA. If any of those insiders still had AU as the pick then there might be some hope but as of now they all agree he is going to commit to UGA tonight. We will see if that's the case but that's why most of us think he's gone

I am just listing the targets I am pretty sure AU is a factor for. 2019 is still early so hard to know for sure but it's a starting point at least

When you’ve wasted as much time as I have following recruiting over the years the tea leaves become pretty easy to read and are rarely wrong

IIRC Penn St. had almost no depth on the OL due to sanctions. Had walk-ons and stuff, I think.
Hand is a fantastic OL coach and is well respected by people a hell of a lot smarter than we are at evaluating OL play.

While I agree that Hill is going to UGA, I don’t agree that the presence of glorified bloggers means the deal is sealed

When one teams site goes and the other doesnt, it’s pretty much 95% that he commits to the school whose site went.
These guys are told beforehand and have to act like they don’t know. That’s also why you always see a rush of CBs right before the announcement all for the same team

It is. But I also think they factor in how much time passed between your CB pick and announcement factors into their “predictor score” or whatever they call it
