But yet he already made his commitment video.
FTR recruits often do multiple videos.

We split the state of AL recruits with UA. Always have.
Incorrect. We split when Bama likes out of state recruits better. When they are bullish on in state kids for a class they get more than us, especially of the top tier in state ratings wise.

Not doubting you but how did we go from first to third in like two weeks?

IF might have done us a solid in recruiting by losing the LSU.

I dont see how Wonnum could have us third. SCarolina, his brother plays there, its SCarolina, and will always be SCarolina. If Wonnum wants exposure Auburn offers much more.

LSU, are you kiddin me, that program is a dumpster fire. Remember some of the musicians on the Titanic got early playing time too.

We really need a star tackle in this class. Our Nigerian projects at this point look like, well projects. Ashley showed up late and fat. Troxell has had two knee surgeries on the same knee and has not even walked on the field yet.

Recruiting insider: Auburn hosts most crucial visitors since 2017 season started (SECCountry)

AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn had another successful on-field performance. From an off-field recruiting standpoint, it was probably the best weekend yet.

Here are my biggest takeaways from the morning and afternoon of recruiting.

3-star defensive lineman Andres Fox, Mobile, Ala.

- Andres Fox probably had the most eye-opening comment of the day when he stated he is silently committed to a school. Which school? That he wouldn’t reveal, but it’s either Stanford, Auburn, Alabama or LSU. He’s visited Stanford, Alabama and - Auburn so far this season, and it’s possible he goes to LSU next week.
- As for that silent commitment, the only staff that knows is the staff he committed to. Apparently he did so about a month ago.
- With that said, his recruitment isn’t over by any means. In fact, he doesn’t plan to make an announcement until National Signing Day, so all of the schools involved will host him multiple times.
- So I know the question you’re all asking. Do I think it’s Auburn? I do, but I’ll break that down in much more detail later.

Interesting...

4-star DT Coynis Miller, Birmingham, Ala.

- Coynis Miller made his last pre-commitment game visit to Auburn-Ole Miss rather than Florida-LSU. While he didn’t want to overplay it, Miller admitted it plays in the Tigers’ favor that they are receiving the last game trip before the Oc. 14 announcement.
- Miller will do a commitment video with AL.com. He’s already filmed it — minus the ending. He’ll put the finishing touches on that sometime at the end of next week.
- He says Florida still leads, but “it’s close, real close.”
- Miller laughed when asked if commits had been recruiting him hard throughout the day. Needless to say, Asa Martin and Shedrick Jackson were in his ear for most of the game.
- Even when Miller announces, don’t be surprised to see him take visits to the schools he didn’t choose. He wants to enjoy the remainder of the process.
As for my projection, I’m sticking with Auburn until I have a good reason to think otherwise.

4-star OLB/DL Richard Jibunor, Athens, Ga.

- Richard Jibunor, like Miller, went with the Auburn game instead of the Florida game. With this week’s exam schedule, he wasn’t able to make the long trip to Gainesville. He still hopes to make it back for another game to Florida and Tennessee.
- Jibunor once had Auburn as his leader and has since backed off that. He doesn’t want to label a leader right now, but said “Auburn is Auburn. Auburn is up there.” -
The Tigers are in solid shape, especially if he keeps coming for games rather than Florida or Tennessee.
- He wants to commit “before December,” so look out for a November decision from Jibunor. He will then sign in December, even though he’s not an early enrollee. He wants to take full advantage of the early signing period to get the process out of the way ASAP.
- I still like Auburn’s chances a lot here.

4-star OL Trey Hill, Warner Robins, Ga.

- For the second time this season, Trey Hill made it to Auburn for a game. He noticed several improvements from the Georgia Southern game to the Ole Miss game. This visit was particularly notable, considering FSU — one of his top schools — had perhaps its biggest game of the year against Miami. Hill, however, said not to read into that too much.
- The only official visit Hill has set so far is to Southern Cal. Other than that, he’s not sure who will receive them, or if he’ll even take others. It’s unlikely he’ll take one to Auburn or Georgia since he’s been to both so many times.
- Auburn’s family atmosphere has made a major impression on Hill and his father. If the Tigers were to win out, it would be that small-town home feel of the program and its staff that did the trick.
- Also, don’t expect Hill to narrow his list of schools down. He says it hasn’t been narrowed down at all, and even if it has, he’s not going to be relaying that information publicly. He said Saturday that he’ll probably just decide to commit on a whim.
- This is purely speculation on my end, but I think this one comes down to Auburn and Georgia. The fellow recruit relationships at Georgia will be tough to beat, but the number of times he’s visited Auburn is too much to ignore.

Unranked quarterback A.J. Curry, Mount Airy, Ga.

- With Justin Fields off the board, here’s a new name to keep an eye on. A.J. Curry doesn’t have an Auburn offer yet, but he’s exchanged messages and film with Chip Lindsey, which led to his entire family visiting for the Ole Miss game.
- So far, Curry holds offers from South Alabama, Western Carolina, Eastern Kentucky and Florida Atlantic. But he’s also only been playing quarterback for this season. He was originally a wide receiver, but the position switch has helped kick off his recruitment.
- Auburn and Mississippi State are the two top-tier schools who have been in communication, and since that interest started, he’s heard more from those two programs than the ones he already had offers from. Georgia also communicates, but the Bulldogs would likely only offer if Jacob Eason decided to transfer and felt the need for a second quarterback in this class.
- Curry and Lindsey spent a fairly long time chatting on the field prior to the game. Coaches often key in on recruits during pregame. You rarely see it, especially for extended periods of time, when the guys haven’t been offered. That’s a telling sign of Auburn’s potential interest going forward.

Other notes

- Offensive line commit Jalil Irvin made sure Hill knew he was wanted in this class by the rest of the offensive linemen. Irvin said Hill is a tough one to read, but the Tigers are certainly “up there.” As for Dylan Wonnum, a close friend, Irvin thinks it could go either way between Auburn and South Carolina.
- 4-star receiver Justyn Ross was back for his second visit in as many weeks. Not much new to report here, other than he was spending a lot of his time with fellow receiver target Anthony Schwartz.
- Speaking of Schwartz, I haven’t spoken with him yet, but will try to have more on him over the next day or two. He does plan to stay the night. Don’t count the Tigers out of this one even though Florida seems to have a major edge.
- Joey Gatewood, Seth Williams, Saivion Smith and Quay Walker didn’t make the trip. Walker wanted to go to FSU-Miami instead. Personally, I can’t blame him for wanting to see that one. Gatewood wanted to make it, but his late game last night didn’t set up well with the 11 a.m. CT kickoff in Auburn.
- 5-star 2019 offensive lineman Clay Webb was back again. He hung out with Herb Hand for a while before the game. He also got a chance to hangout postgame with his high school teammate KJ Britt.
- Quindarious Monday, Shedrick Jackson, Josh Marsh, Jalil Irvin and Asa Martin were the commits spotted at the game. It was Monday’s first game visit, and he was blown away by the experience.

Disappointed Smith didn't make the trip. If we were gonna get in that race needed to get him on campus. Probably all Bama
